The bathroom was small but everything was in good condition. Shower and hot water were excellent. No air conditioning in the room.

Fascinating old house being refurbished. The bed was superbly comfortable.

Anthony was extremely helpful in helping me to make the most of my brief stay in Bourges. He showed me how to see the main attractions and was very helpful in allowing me to leave my luggage for collection just before my onward train departed. The location is excellent for the centre of Bourges and a plentiful supply of restaurants.

Perfect location, just a spit away from the historic centre of the town. Lovely breakfast - all appetites fulfilled - and the most delightful, quirky, colourful, peaceful place. Gorgeous!

We had a lovely stay at le cedre bleu. It was comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. Anthony was a delightful and informative host and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast there. We could easily walk to town or to gardens from this spot.

In the center of the town. Easy to access by foot. The room is spacious and you can sit in the garden or inside the living room. The breakfast is practical. The bread is nice and fresh.

The entry and the garden are not very well kept, need some maintenance and cleaning, gives a sloppy impression. The bathroom in the quadruple room is really tiny; we were only two but if you have to share it with four people, it will be a challenge. The pillows in the beds are in bad shape.

Parking in the street. We found somewhere quite close to park but felt we were lucky. Bourges was particularly busy because of an event.

Beautiful old house and a very warm welcome from Anthony. Pleasant bedroom with a large comfortable bed and a good bathroom with shower and bath up a little staircase (within the room). Very good breakfast and Anthony had kindly supplied gluten free bread for me. The house is very close to the centre of Bourges (5 minute walk to many restaurants).

We could not arrive before 5:30 in the evening and were required to leave no later than 10 a.m. in the morning.

An unusual visual experience especially for those who like artistic venues that strive to make a unique statement.

The whole experience here was simply wonderful. A most generous and helpful owner, a charming house with an unusual ambiance, and bursting with colour. All within ten minutes of central Bourges

A minor issue was the hand held shower, but I was able to wedge it in position so I got a decent shower. It was in a proper shower recess, not over a bath. So not a big deal.

Le Cedre Bleu is not a stereotypical hotel. It is a bit quirky, but the welcome was genuinely warm, and the staff member on duty was genuinely helpful and flexible; it was far more than just good professional customer service. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and a good size. The location is excellent between the marais and the oldest part of Bourges, an easy walk to attractions and restaurants.

The classic French breakfast! And the courtyard. An old, atmospheric and authentic family owned hotel. Nearby restaurants. What more is there to wish for?
