By the time all the extras were added the price was similar to auberges and hotels we stayed in but with less facilities. Wouldn’t recommend walking from here to Cabrerets. The walk was way too long in the heat.

We had a cool spacious room with private (dry) toilet. Very clean. We paid extra for towels, sheet and dinner and breakfast but the food was very good. The host kindly picked us up from Marcilhac ( for a charge).

    Dry ecological toilets.

St ’Sulpice is an amazing place, very quiet, few people live there so there is nothing in the village except the gite. The hosts were welcoming. The food good.

Just a notice for those who only speak English that the host speaks very little English.

La Chant is basically a hostel with a couple shared rooms. It is in a very old building but a great deal of thought was put into designing it for hostel use. Spaces were semi-private and had everything one would need. The location is beautiful, on a cliff over the Cele Valley. The host is thoughtful and has decorated with wonderful taste. The dinner (available but not mentioned in information) was delicious.
