How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

How does it feel to be at home? It feels like being at Le Clos des Queyries. The owners are such a splendid couple, hosting people like gentlemen do. The structure is awesome, very well located out of the city center, but it takes just 10 minutes to reach the heart of Bordeaux. The beauty of the room is difficult to describe. And Silvie &Sebastien actually saved our life on the last eve, preparing such a good assiette of charcuterie and cheeses we were able to eat quite late when we got back after a daily trip. It’s pretty simple: if you plan to visit Bordeaux, and it deserves a visit doubtlessly, you must stay at this place. Top notch. You won’t regret!

It is a very beautiful property and Silvie and Sebastien were very nice and always ready to help us. The house is newly renovated and the room we had was very cozy

Absolutely nothing.
We had the most wonderful stay with Sylvie and Sebastien; they were so helpful and welcoming. Sylvie took the time to explain the tram system and where to visit in Bordeaux which made a massive difference to our visit. Our room was beautifully clean and elegant and the bathroom very modern and easy to use. I thought the breakfast was great too, with fresh fruit, home made yoghurt, fresh croissants and bread loaf... pots of tea and coffee. We will definitely stay again.

That the owners were not up when we came back after dinner at 11 o’clock. We would really like to have sat down and had a drink with them!
Sylvia and Sebastian (I hope I got that right), the couple that run the hotel are absolutely fabulous. They really make you feel at home and happy to provide advice on where to go, what to see, where to eat etc. If you’re worried about leaving valuables in your car, this place is great as it has secure parking inside the grounds of the Hótel

The hosts were really friendly with a welcome refreshment and a goodbye gift. They provided information about how to get around Bordeaux and what to see and do. Our room and the whole property was superb.

We had a circular staircase to the bedroom which may be problematic for some. It was very tight.
The building was pretty and unique. The hosts were very friendly. Sylvia and Sebastian made the stay very enjoyable.

Absolutely nothing.
One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. The owners are fantastic and always, and very welcoming on your arrival. it’s very close to city center, but it is an old huge château that is walled in and has an electric gate to let you and or your car in. Parking is included on site at no extra charge, and is very secure. The air-conditioning was exceptional, lots of hot water and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was also so amazing, and just sitting out in the open air having a glass of wine or meal is fantastic.

Sylvie is really nice. She helped us to arrange a wine taste at the Chateau and it as wonderful! The place is beautiful, and the breakfast was perfect. I would come back for sure.

Beautiful property and very unusual duplex apartment with spiral staircase to bedroom. Full of character and extremely well presented. The hosts were charming and helpful. Our stay added to our positive experience of Bordeaux.

We had a wonderful stay! Sylvie and Sébastien were exceptional hosts. The house is full of character with a lovely garden. Our room was charming and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade yogurt and jams. Everything was clean, quiet, and welcoming. Easy access to the city center and free parking on-site. Highly recommended!

A beautiful place with the kindest hosts! The breakfast was delicious--homemade yogurt, fabulous pastries, homemade jam. Sylvie and Sebastien are gracious and helpful; our room--a 2-story romantic one--had lovely windows onto the garden and tasteful decor. Just lovely and comfortable!

The accommodation was full of charm, style and attention to detail. It’s within easy reach of Bordeaux centre by nearby tram. My thanks to Sylvie and Sébastian who are perfect hosts giving personal attention to everything you might need to make your stay enjoyable. The homemade breakfasts were wonderful.

On our part, I wish we had booked a longer visit.
The property is beautiful inside and out. The location was good. While not in the historical downtown core it was a short walk to a Tram station ( Tram A ) which took us there in minutes. Easy access parking. The continental breakfast was excellent. All types of coffee included. Our room ( Salinières Suite ) was spacious and very well appointed plus it looked onto the garden/patio area. Sylvie, Sébastien and Ludmilla welcomed us and over beverages gave us an overview of the area and information on the historical downtown sites. Sylvie also recommended a restaurant Café Français right across from the cathedral which was excellent as well. I don't think we have ever felt as welcomed at a place we have stayed at before. Truly memorable.

This is the best guest house you could stay at any where. The rooms are large and well appointed. The breakfast is delicious with homemade yogurt and jams, sufficient to carry you through the day.The best part are Silvie and Sebastian. They are delightful and can't do enough for you, making the stay perfect.

Our hosts were so loving and kind.The breakfast was amazing, and the garden was dreamlike.Each room was beautifully appointed, fresh and clean. Sylvie gave us great tips for navigating the beautiful city of Bordeaux. We loved our time here. A treasured memory for sure.
