Very friendly relaxed setting. Easy check in and very dog friendly. The building is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious. Would definitely recommend as only 45 mins from Eurotunnel.

The location was ideal for us and our daughter and family, being 45mins from Calais after a channel crossing. The staff were very friendly and kind, and took time to show us round their marvellous property (with a bakery and micro-brewery on site). We communicated well despite our limited French and the host's limited English. All facilities were clean, the rooms and beds comfortable, and the food excellent (genuine home cooking).

We stayed in one of the family rooms. Which was perfect it had a lounge area and then two separate bedrooms. Which was perfect for us as our children are teenagers. Room was clean and the beds and bedding high quality. Communication before arrival was fantastic, owner arranged an early check in for us. . Location was perfect only 45 minute drive to euro tunnel. The owner was so welcoming after a long drive from the south of France, arranged for us to have a meal despite the fact the restaurant was closed. We had meal prepared for us and served to us on the terrace. Meal was extremely good value and of a high standard. We holiday in France every year and can’t believe we haven’t found this place before we will definitely return.

This place is an absolute GEM! We stayed one night on our way from Disney to Le Shuttle. The hotel is very easy to get to from the motorway. Our Family Room was large and comfortable, with a sitting room and 2 bedrooms. Helen and her team were delightful and made us feel right at home. The kids loved playing with her puppy in the large garden. We sampled the beers from their on-site microbrewery and had a lovely dinner in the restaurant. I would highly recommend!

Very little, although my lad did moan about the shower as the shower head was a little low for him.

We used this hotel as a stop over close to Calais, and it did not disappoint. The lady running the hotel was very nice, our room was a family room at the top of some steps and it was very comfortable, due to high sky lights there is no views, however lots of light. The double bed was a memory foam one and so comfortable. The kids room had three single beds which were all comfortable, and as my lad is 6’2” he still had a comfortable night in a single bed. Breakfast was lovely, the owner had made some fresh French breakfast things with what I think was gooseberries, but I’m not sure however they were lovely. At the back of the property there is a very large garden where the children could run around, which having spent 6 hours in the car was perfect.

A few cobwebs in the room and the bathroom drain had a slight off putting smell but otherwise all ok.

Helen accommodated our request for an evening meal (the restaurant was closed on Tuesdays) it was delicious and good value. As was the home made beer! Room was comfortable and spacious. Decent breakfast. Add she also kindly agreed to give us brekky at 7.30 am so we could catch an earlier tunnel train.

A bit difficult to locate the premises initially, it could have been better shown by Booking.com.

An excellent small hotel. Dining room closed the night we stayed, but a reasonable selection of restaurants a few minute's drive away - one called Le Campagnard was a perfect choice for us. Our room was comfortable, well-presented. Breakfast was included in our price, bread-and-croissants etc, so very satisfactory. Can thoroughly recommend this place, and all staff were very helpful.
