Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Surely the most beautiful hotel on the island in terms of architecture and location? Delightful helpful staff, beautiful interior decor. Even though we hadn't paid the extra for a sea view our room at the back corner looked over the swimming pool to the sea beyond and the light house behind. Free shuttle service to and from ferry was excellent and very easy. Bike hire likewise.

United KingdomWay too expensive for what you get/ a three star hotel. The room rates are high, breakfast is expensive for the quality and limited range. The extra charge for the dog is also high. Dinner was average in terms of quality but the price was, again, very high, way above what you pay elsewhere and for lower quality. The room itself was very small and standard, not worth at all the sky high price per night!
Superb location and a beautiful hotel. Dramatic landscape. Friendly staff.

United KingdomThe hotel did not seem to want to be hospitable. We arrived at 14:00 but the lunch service was over. They could not offer bread, or ham, or anything. And as it's located remotely, this was far from ideal. It was odd to have such an unhelpful hotel - is this a hospitality venue, or are they just doing us a favour??!!

United KingdomOur room had a sea view ( but over a flat roof so not quite what we were expecting) It was very small. Dinner was 50/50, starter and dessert absolutely delicious but the main course not brilliant. It was very expensive for both the room and dinner. We did not really feel that the price was warranted but do appreciate that you are paying for an amazing location on a beautiful and generally expensive little luxury island.
The hotel is situated by the sea in the most beautiful location. The dining room and terrasse are wonderful. lovely swimming pool and very friendly staff.
