We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWebsite stated 3 different times of which the reception was open on Sunday but it was closed when we arrived so very unclear for us. Had to book another hotel as no one let us in or answered the phone. Set up of entry was so unorganised. Ants were in the bed and we got bitten. The pool was closed off on all days of our stay. Bathroom had a massive crack in the wall and the cutlery in our room was still dirty.

SingaporeThe property is very badly managed. Our room had broken blinds, we had to move to another one, and in the second room the toilet was very slow to fill up with water (~10mins after each flush). We asked a few months in advance if we can have adjacent rooms, on the ground floor as we have a baby, and were promised that it should be fine. But when we checked it not only we got rooms that were located far away, but also on the top most floor (there's no lift), so it's very difficult with our baby. The staff is friendly, but they seem not to have any kind of power to make any decisions. The WiFi also broke down on a public holiday, and we were just told that their contractor doesn't work on weekends and public holidays, so no internet. I'd expect something much better at this price range.
Staff is nice and helpful (or at least, trying to help).

AustraliaExcellent customer service by Céline and Florent, both of whom replied instantly to my messages and requests. Smell of drains in the room but apparently this will be dealt with next week. I chose this place partly because of check-out at midday, but apparently this was an error by booking.com (now fixed). Check-out is actually at 10.30, but Florent allowed midday because of the error. Nice quiet countryside location. Excellent value for money, full apartment for under 50 euros.

United KingdomWhen you arrive late evening the outdoor space is not very well lighted . It’s quite dark to find your way to the room . In the hallway into the room there were a strong smell of cigarettes. Sofa bed not comfy . The layout and furniture very poor and cheap .

It looks like a nice hotel outside, but it's a cheap motel inside. Our bathroom was smelly and everything was not arranged nicely in the room. United Kingdomfake advertisement, extremely dirty, there is dust everywhere. the rooms look nothing like the picture, it’s not modern at all everything is deteriorating. The hobs are very old and nothing like the picture, the bedding smells weird, and everywhere is dirty. The pool is extremely dirty, the staff came to put the cleaner in the pool around 10am so couldn’t even use the pool during the day after it finished the pool was still very dirty. Extremely unpleasant experience.
