Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt was at the top of a hill and we needed to get a taxi most times, after a trip out. The front door was impossible to open and we had to disturb the staff to let us in every time!
The setting was fabulous, the grounds were lovely and the pool area great too. It was a peaceful place to recharge the batteries. The staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThere was an air condition machine in the room but it did not work, looked ancient! This meant it was stifling hot and with balcony doors open we got bitten lots by mosquitoes. We didn’t sleep well at all due to this. The BandB is right at the top of the steep road on the right, hard to find.
The welcome was exceptional and the room old fashioned French but in a majestic building which we loved. The pool area was just what we needed as it was hot! The view from the balcony was lovely too. Breakfast, simple but tasty and eggs how you like them. We really couldn’t have asked for more from the host. The free parking was also welcome. Quick walk to town although some will find it steep.

United KingdomThat we didn't stay longer!
The hosts were very friendly & accommodating, even offered to meet us in the town if we had problems driving to the Mas (it was the weekend of the jousting festival) but as it was there wasn't an issue. Yes, the roads are narrow & can be steep but perfectly driveable. The location was great, easy walk into town, a bit harder on the return but then you don't get a view without a climb! It's a very peaceful location. We had a great stay there.

United KingdomThey could have communicated exactly where the hotel entrance was and where the car parking was as it was difficult to find.
A very unique hotel that is high up on the hillside above Sète. Great views and next to the steps to climb up to the viewing point at the top of Mount Saint Clair.

United KingdomReally nice property, but could be even better. Some parts would need more work, like some of the flower pots with dry plants left in.

United KingdomAs non-smokers, the constant smell of cigarettes in the hallway and reception was unpleasant. There was no shade by the pool sunloungers, it needed parasols or something. Staff only really seen at breakfast, was a bit strange. Decor was outdated but pleasant enough. Thought it was a bit pricey for what it was.
The best thing about this B&B was the view of Sete from our balcony. We were able to check in early and staff were friendly (although you hardly saw them!). Room was comfortable and spacious. Parking onsite was very helpful and secure. Good proximity to town - hilly but I managed ok at 27 weeks pregnant. Mini bar is reasonably priced.

United StatesThe logis has a beautiful view down to the harbor and Mediterranean beyond. There is a pretty garden with fountains and fairly large swimming pool. The breakfasts were delicious and a great value! Staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative was the very steep and narrow roads up to the hotel, a challenge for both walking and driving. But if you don’t mind that, it was a good value and nice spot to stay in Sète.

United KingdomThe entire property needs updating, there were no blankets (we could sleep as it was so cold), there were foul smells in parts of the property, the bed linen was mis-matched and had holes in them.
The manager (Janis) was amazing…. The breakfast was ample… but that’s where it ends

SwitzerlandProbably the cheapest mattress, not much better than lying on the floor. There is so much nice bread available in the town but they choose to serve plain white and whole-wheat toast bread and a terrible baguette. Croissants were only mildly acceptable.
Nice old mansion near the heart of Sète Friendly staff

Francethe hotel is far too expensive for the overall depressing environment. we chose this hotel because of the spa which was closed throughout our stay. when we expressed our disappointment, the staff member defensively pointed out that the closure was announced on all booking platforms. indeed, the information was hidden in the section related to covid measures. we felt mildly deceived. the view from the sea facing rooms is pleasant, but the villa itself is in a dilapidated state. usually, i prefer properties with a bit of age and scars that show for it. however, in case of this hotel, the signs of wear are not graceful, they are sloppily camouflaged and arranged as a simulacrum of what is popularly considered « good taste ». the breakfast was scanty. i would have absolutely no complaints if the price per night was 30-40% lower and the hotel didn’t pretend to be what it is clearly not.

United KingdomWe had difficulties finding the property even with the use of GPS which other people staying at the property experienced. However this should not put anyone off staying at B&B Le Logis du Mas.
