A delightfully French place to stay close to the Chateau de Chambord. The owners were delightful and friendly, and the surroundings so peaceful .

The room and hallway was a little musty.

We loved the beautiful French farm house, made of three-foot thick concrete walls, with very nice fitting decorations. Our bathroom had a tub. A friendly black lab roamed the grounds. The breakfast was good. We arrived late and the host met us to check us in. He didn't speak English, but we could email him in English and he got the translation and replied. The system worked very well. We had no problem finding it using Apple directions.

We loved it, but the location might feel “quite isolated” to some.

Nature all around, so green and peaceful, with trees, water-mill… Feeling of being back in time, our room with wooden beams and floor, and breakfast room and table. Large and green premises for family relaxing walks Nice welcome by managing owners.

- as the building is old there was a smell that old buildings usually have and I can’t stand this smell, so this had a negative impact on our stay although we stayed at the property only 1 night; - the shower did not work properly and it was difficult to use it;

+ nice and clean big room; + very nice garden with outdoor furniture: you can have a meal in the garden; + the owner was friendly and gave us some useful info about the landmarks; + the property is located in a very quiet place in the nature, but at the same time you can reach Blois for 10-15 min by car; + parking space;

Great location as needed to be near Loire Valley etc. Off beaten track and good nights sleep and chilled out.

The rooms are in very poor condition and inadequately equipped. The kitchenette was missing most of the essential tools. The rooms were also extremely dirty, dusty, and poorly maintained. The outdoor garden had no proper amenities, except for a few old, uncomfortable, and badly maintained chairs.

The location is great and the general charm of the site is nice.

The extremely low wood beams. My husband hit his head a few times. I realize it’s historic and that is part of the charm but it was painful for him.

Wonderful character and beautiful interior decorations and renovations. You can tell this place is very well loved and looked after. The room was a nice introduction to the Loire Valley. We enjoyed the comical breakfast tables and food as well. The plantings, trees, river and nature around the buildings were very relaxing. Sweet dog as well.

The accuel and structures adorables. A lot of pace for parking the car. The room big, confortable. The place is quite and relaxing. Federica is magnific.

Simply stunning property in a magical location. The owners were very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. Gave good advice about where to eat as the in-house restaurant was closed.

Basic, rustic. Lacking in kitchen utensils and cutlery Noisy mice in ceiling above bed. Constantly running toilet cistern. Grumpy and rude owner. Patio table over septic tank. Unpleasant smell.

Bats live in the same room. We left immediately for fear of our health. Raised it with the owner afterwards, she knew there were bats living in the room and didn’t see what our issue was. Escalated to booking.com nothing done, I guess both are happy taking their fees. Very disappointed with the experience.

A wonderful place with a unique atmosphere of happiness. An enchanted the Old Mill that creates its own story every day. In all this, the charming lady-owner with a beautiful soul and heart gives everyone a smile from morning to evening. You don't want to leave this place. Great respect for the owners who have created this piece of paradise on earth. Forever in our hearts.

Location. Beautiful, historic building. There was a kitchen sink, a microwave, plates and cutlery. Beautifully decorated room and breakfast room. Friendly host who was happy to chat about the history of his place. Large bathroom. Large garden areas to enjoy.
