Immaculate accommodation with air conditioning (v hot weather), very very comfortable bed and quality bed linen. Very pleasant house and garden where I enjoyed a hearty breakfast with fresh produce and local food. This is a real gem and very reasonably priced. Mark could not have been more helpful especially as my flight was cancel 24hrs and I needed to return for one night at short notice. Good location within walking distance of a charming small town of Emyet with plenty of restaurants and charming features.

Perfect breakfast hot & cold options, choice of breads & jams. Plenty of tea and everything perfectly presented! The hosts even made us a breakfast box to take with us, after an early journey home. Can't recommend the service & quality highly enough!

We had a room at the front which was a little noisy with traffic with the window open but the insulation when the windows were shut was very good and cut down on the noise.

Property was lovely and clean, excellent decor, amazing breakfast and super friendly host. Great contact before we even arrived.

Our host Mark was fantastic as was Tom. On arrival they were so accommodating and prepared a drink for us as we checked in. The room we had was spacious and very well presented and breakfast the morning after was excellent. We stayed here one night prior to moving onto Bordeaux. Eymet is a must see beautiful village with plenty of eateries. Thanks Mark and Tom..

breakfast was excellent and choice of freshly cooked eggs and croissants plus homemade jams and marmalade. house was a 7 minute walk from the delightful bastide square with lots of restaurants and bars. Lovely garden and access to a pool. hosts very friendly and helpful.

We had an excellent 4 night stay at Le Portanel. The room was spotless and the facilities spot on. Nothing was to much trouble for Mark and Tom. Mark was front of house and always ready to help. Tom was the breakfast demon, and made the best scrambled eggs. Thank you for a lovely stay and sharing your beautiful home with us.

The house was lovely. The bedroom was really comfortable and we couldn't fault it. The dining area for breakfast was spacious, and the food was delicious. We had the use of a great garden with a pool. We had spacious off-road parking.

Missed a TV in the room but not that much as we were tired when we got back after dinner out.

Easy to find and everything was great. Mark met us when we arrived and showed us to our room which was ready and lovely. Great ensuite toilet/shower room was spotless. Our room overlooked the garden and pool. Comfortable bed and good night's sleep. Mark showed us the guest facilities downstairs which included a fridge with milk and water and the guest lounge with TV which we planned to use but didn't. Great breakfast including a fresh egg cooked to order was a special treat. The property is an easy walk into the centre of Eymet.
