Our stay was during a very hot spell of weather and the air conditioning system was very welcome. The cottage had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The pool was amazing and very clean. Michelle was very friendly and helpful.

A very small point but the Les 4 Saisons sign directing guests to the property blocked the driver’s view when leaving the property, particularly bad when turning right onto the main road.

The owners were friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The Gite was clean, and the location was quiet, private, and had all the facilities we needed. The pool area was fantastic, clean and well maintained.

Exiting the access road from the Gite, perhaps a traffic mirror on the opposite side of the road would help to see traffic from the left. However, the property has had many visitors without any issues, so please don't be put off by my personal view.

A truly lovely stay. Gite was immaculate. All we needed inside and out. A beautiful pool. Michele and Hidir were very welcoming hosts. Lots of information available in the gite and personally from Michele. Absolutely first class. Would have no hesitation in coming back one day and highly recommend to anyone wanting the explore this beautiful area.

    All good. No complaints whatsoever.

Well equipped, clean apartment ~8mins drive from the old town. Michèle was an amazing and understanding host, marked up a map for where we could get free parking and get groceries/boulangerie etc. Her husband even helped us with our large suitcase up the second floor. She left a folder of various brochures for key attractions in the region which was very helpful besides suggesting food places to try. Also offered us to pick the figs from her big garden! She’s always available to address any questions and allowed us to check out later after getting home at 1am the night before due to unforeseen circumstances

Bedrooms and toilets are on the floor above if mobility is an issue but otherwise not a problem. People from the second room with the double bed has to walk through the room with 2 singles in order to get out, wasn’t a big deal for us

Michele was very friendly and welcoming, providing us with information and maps. The semi rural outlook was pretty and the cottage looks cute from the outside. It was very clean.

The interior was old and dated. The kitchen cooking utensils were sparse. The oven was a small bench top unit. I rely on accurate ratings and it was not a 9.3 in my opinion. The entry to the lane was on a blind corner and very difficult to see oncoming traffic. For an unserviced apartment I believe there would be better value elsewhere.

Very friendly host with great English and very helpful recommendations. The gite and swimming pool were immaculately clean. We had a lovely stay in the very peaceful surroundings. A hilly walk to town but very close to the big supermarkets.

A lovely charming cottage, in a truly idyllic location (nb: a car is needed). Plenty of space, nice area to eat outside. Quiet, calm, comfortable. Hostess Michele (who by the way speaks excellent English) was wonderful -- responded quickly and positively to all issues (e.g. when microwave stopped working, she arrived with a new one within about ten minutes!). This must be one of the best self-catering places I've ever stayed in, and I'd love to go back.

Les 4 Saisons is a wonderful apartment on a quiet spot in the town of Sarlat - la-Caneda. It is well situated to many of the places we wanted to visit such as the "Beaux Villages" along the Dordogne River. Rocamadour and many chateauxs, gardens and castles. Sarlat's medieval town was wonderful with many places to dine and shop. We especially like having a kitchen for a few days and the ability to wash some clothes. Out host was wonderful and helpful in out navigating of the area.

    We liked everything.

This property was in an excellent location for exploring the region, with easy access to Sarlat the closest town, meaning a supermarket close by. We were met by Michele our hostess, who could not be friendlier. She showed us through the accommodation, pointed out the closest supermarkets and bakeries, and gave us recommendations of places to visit in the area. The facilities were spotless, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we required. The shower was hot. There was on site parking, and a terrace for if we wanted to sit outside. Although we did not use it, there was also a swimming pool available.

The turn in off the road was a bit harrowing with the larger rental car we had. There was also a visibility issue exiting the drive way. However this was minor, and would not stop me returning. The bed felt comfortable, but we both experienced minor backache.

The placement, the owners, the area, the full kitchen, place to dry clothes, the pool, the view EVERYTHING is better than you think. Nobody can look into your apartment, privacy and central placement - the Liberty gym is around the corner, they give a week-pass for 30 €, for 20€ you can book the sauna for 1h, you can book a massages there (Dean Edwards is gold - his wife is Osteopath and KNOWS what she is doing). So many caves and museums around the corner. Magic.

Everything was just better than I could have wished. There is bot one thing I could name that was not good.

Great location and just a few minutes from the town centre. The host were really helpful and had great advice on where to visit and had lots of info of attractions to visit. Accommodation was really nice and very quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay. Defiantly would use this again if visiting the area.

Only thing I would comment on would be some larger glasses required for a gin & tonic.
