Be mindful it’s a €30 uber to arcachon from Moulleaux. Great if you’re keen for the peace and quiet, but an additional expense to consider.

Lovely staff, beautiful, peaceful setting, great location, minutes from bars, restaurants, shops and the beach, but a little way away from the main bustle of Arcachon.

Taxi to Arcachon cost €25 and the local bus service was very infrequent so would need to have a bike or car to enjoy the area.

Really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the villa and the luxurious facilities. The staff could genuinely not have been more helpful and courteous, assisting us with bike rental and taxis and guidance on the surrounding area.

Wonderfully relaxing and welcoming hotel. Quiet location but just a few minutes' walk to the beach. Some good restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and helped us feel comfortable with our basic French. Most staff speak good English - but some use of French is going to go a long way. Breakfasts are excellent, for an extra charge. Parking was available on the street in front of the hotel. We warmly recommend the Villa du Moulleau!

Nothing! It was just perfect!

What a charming little hotel in the most quaint little town! The hotel's atmosphere and staff made us feel right at home (but even better!!) and the room was beautifully decorated, with a gorgeous bathroom with Nuxe products, and the most lovely balcony overlooking the picturesque garden and pool. The in-house coffee was some of the best we had on our trip through France, and the honesty fridge came in very handy when we decided to have a few champagnes on the beach in the evening! We stayed here en-route from Bordeaux to San Sebastian and it was the perfect stopover to really relax and enjoy this special scenic town (and a lot of oysters!)

Peaceful location but very close to restaurants and bars. Lovely room and a very comfortable bed! Very kind and helpful staff. Lovely pool, quite small but nice to cool off in after a day out. We also swam in the sea which is very close to the hotel. We walked to Arcachon which took us 40-50 minutes on a very hot day, but would recommend doing this. Great market, shops and restaurants in an attractive town. Also worth a trip to Cap Ferret and the lighthouse. We arrived by train and needed to pre arrange a taxi, the hotel advised us of who to use. All in all a very enjoyable few days away, Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hot water a smidge temperamental but not enough to worry about. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Almost everything was perfect, just minor critical points: no proper fridge in the room, we found cockroaches in the (rather small) bathroom, limited parking spaces
