Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainWe should have booked more nights! But we’ll definitely revisit.
From the moment we arrived Adam and Phil made us feel completely at home. They were welcoming, caring and super helpful. Les Deux Chevaux have done an amazing job at anticipating your every need from lots of brochures on things to do, to the outdoor and indoor areas to where to hang your towels! Everything is immaculate and extremely comfortable and breakfast is fantastic! We also loved the location. It’s peaceful and quiet (the garden is so lovely) but a great point to go and explore the beautiful region. Couldn’t recommend more highly for the hosts and the accommodation. the

United KingdomNothing- all was great.
Les Deux Chevaux was easy to find and there was lots of parking space. The location is stunning: mountains, vineyards, beautiful trees. The building itself looks charmingly rustic, has lots of authentic features and is well maintained. There is a secluded garden with different seating options, we made use of these for our evening drinks and picnics. We had the blue room and we found it very comfortable, there is plenty of storage space, has a good size bed and has a great view of the sunrise. The shutters helped keep the room cool. The bathroom was a very good size, and the shower was very good, the fittings felt new and was really clean. The breakfast was fresh (the bread was bought from the local bakery every morning) and there were a range of fruits, alongside ham, cheese, bread, muesli, yoghurt and eggs to order. Every night was quiet and we slept well. The real gem of Les Deux Chevaux though is its hosts. Phil and Adam were so welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable that they elevated our stay to the next level. They helped us plan our itinerates, told us about the local customs and traditions and are clearly very passionate about providing guests with the best stay possible. One night we ordered dinner, and we enjoyed a delicious homemade main & dessert using produce from the garden. There is lots to do in the local area, we recommend having a car to able to access everything. We especially enjoyed swimming in the lake at Puivert, and climbing up the mountain to explore the castle of Peyrepetuse and exploring the medieval village of Alet-des-Bains. As nature lovers, we were also excited to see vultures, griffons, buzzards, butterflies, hedgehogs, and red squirrels. Lastly, there are a few English people in the area, but knowing a little French will help when out and about. We found the locals to be really welcoming and friendly.

Adam and Phil are the best of hosts. They really go out of their way to accomodate their guests. They even went to get pizza for us. The house is very roomy and has the wonderful atmosphere of an old building, yet all the comforts of a modern one. The room was comfortable and bathroom spic-n-span. Breakfast was abundant and Phil even offered to do eggs for us, but it was ample enough already, with good coffee, juice, fresh fruit, bread, croissants, pain chocolat, the works! Thank you very much guys. This is the first time I've given a 10/10 rating. You deserve it!

United KingdomA beautifully restored old house in a quiet location which had recently been renovated to a very high standard. There was a safe off street parking area for my motorcycle. The room was large and beautifully decorated and furnished with a great modern bathroom and fantastic shower. The owners Phil & Adam made us very welcome and made us a delicious home cooked dinner. Outside the property the gardens were beautifully tended with various places to sit.

United StatesThe fact that we couldn't stay longer :)
This is without doubt one of the best places we have ever stayed while on vacation. The hosts are superb and kind and incredibly flexible and thoughtful. The personal touches were unforgettable, and they offer great cooking and great advice about the region and France in general. The location is perfect for a peaceful stay - we would have gladly stayed much longer - and is a great spot to explore the wider area from the sea to the mountains, or just to stay close by and enjoy the immediate surroundings. There are pleasant hikes and places to see very close by, and you can also drive 1-2 hours to coastal resort towns or the high Pyrenees. The room was exceptionally comfortable and ideally decorated to our taste, and the bed was perfect. We slept like babies. The bathroom was large and remodeled, and the breakfast was delightful. I can't imagine a better place to stay in southern France, and if we return to the region, we'll stay here without a doubt.

United KingdomWe loved everything about this place. We couldn't have asked for a more welcoming and beautiful place to stay after a long day of cycling. Adam and Phil were amazing hosts who went out of their way to make sure we were looked after and shared their extensive knowledge about the area. Breakfast was spot on, there was plenty of bicycle storage and laundry facilities, plus they anticipated that we'd be after a hearty evening meal and booked the local restaurant ahead of our arrival. Plus the peaceful surroundings made for a very restful night's sleep!

Spainthat i stayed only one night.
The house and hosts are amazing. One of the best stays in my life. Adam and Phill are really passionate about what they are doing, so it is seen in any detail. Super clean place, a beautiful well-maintained house in a fairy tale forest, fresh and tasty breakfast. This is a place where I definitely will return. I really suggest going there not by the main highspeed road, but by the small and ancient forest road. The views are stunning.
