BelgiumFlashy orange color of the room doors did not fit with the redecorated rooms.
Breakfast had all the necessary ingredients. Good orange and grapefruit juice, real juice. Freshly boiled eggs, wide choice cheese, ham, etc. Yoghurt, fresh cheese. Nice choice of tea, good fresh coffee machine. Clean spacious. Very quiet environment, surrounded by woods and hills.

United KingdomEverything was great except the toilet. Which had no toilet seat. I know to expect this in services or public toilets in France but that felt a little inconsistent with the standard in the rest of hotel. It was not enough to put me off and I would still happily recommend this hotel
The hotel was very well appointed with two pools and great grounds for exploring and just relaxing. It was very private. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. And it was very easy with our small dog

United Kingdom*** DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL ** The fact that Booking.com have failed to refund half the cost of the room as was agreed with the manager on the day we checked out. The first room had a dead pigeon on the balcony - it also seemed stuffy which was an omen. The reception team quickly changed our room - we seemed to be dealing with a professional team, or so we thought. The second room was fine but also stuffy. The hotel is advertised as having aircon and the room had a thermostat but setting it down had no result. We asked the receptionist to have it checked while we went to dinner. On our return there was no message regarding the aircon and the room was uncomfortably stuffy. We asked the night manager to assist and he agreed that the room was very uncomfortable. After badgering him into opening other vacant rooms which were also stuffy, it turned out that the hotel aircon is controlled centrally and the setting could not be changed. The night manager suggested we sleep with the balcony window open. Exhausted, we tried it and it worked to an extent - however the pond in the hotel gardens is home to very very noisy frogs that kept us awake (I know that sounds unbelievable but you have to hear the things!) We had an appalling nights sleep! As we were on a motorcycling holiday, feeling tired and weary was a safety concern we had not expected. I raised this issue with the hotel via booking.com message and face-to-face in the morning, The manager agreed a 50% reduction in the fee but stated that he would process that with booking.com if I raised a complaint. Several days later booking.com informed me that the manager had no recollection of the conversation. *** DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT TO AVOID A STUFFY ROOM THAT YOU CAN'T SLEEP IN *** We travelled through Span and France for 16 nights and this was THE WORST stay. I don't suppose this review will appear on the website which will underline the absolute sham that booking.com customer support operate.
The hotel looked promising, too bad it didn't live up to that.

FranceThe breakfast was average. We did not have a lot of choices. There was only one waiter who looked overwhelmed by the crowd. The gym equipment is old, in bad shape and some machines are in fact broken. The corridors and rooms give the place a very dormitory-like feel. The restaurant only offers 2-3 menus. So if you are staying for more than three days, you will have seen all of it.
The location is good. It is a former club-med transformed into a resort. The staff was very courteous and agreed to change our room. There are two pools (indoor and outdoor). The property is in a lush green zone.
