Maybe a little too much information about the arrival and maintenance instructions. It could be simplified a bit.

Everything was clean, comfortable and the service was very good. They were flexible about the arrival time, they contacted us individually by phone to find out the exact arrival time.

I'm sure this location is usually peaceful, as it was for most of our stay. It's certainly not the fault of the site, but the Bastille Day fireworks at midnight + the disco (think it was at the nearby Nautical School?) which lasted until 03:20, disturbed our sleep on our final night. We did purchase breakfast on one of the days - quality was OK with fairly average coffee and perhaps a bit pricey for what it was? The site is nicely setup certainly for warm, balmy weather but the open-sided nature of the communal areas is not great for cooler or wetter Brittany weather.

A beautiful elevated site, with views over to Brest and nice walks in the vicinity of the site particularly up to the Fort. This made for a unique camping experience with the spacious tents, really comfortable beds and good quality bedding. Word of warning though, the tents are mostly identical so it's not hard to get mixed up. Sorry to say, I almost walked into another tent by mistake! The bathroom facilities, although a little walk from the tents were well maintained and spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly, chilled and keen to ensure a comfortable stay. There's not much in the way of local eateries, but the Restaurant/Bar La Cale, situated at the bottom of the hill was excellent - great seafood and hardworking staff. Also despite, the number of military facilities in the local area, including the submarine base, these do not detract from the area's beauty and tranquillity.

Everything was great….

Great location and lovely sized room. Very clean and great extra touches, such as fluffy blanket for chilly nights. Outside furniture good quality. Lots of parking one minutes walk away.

Nothing at all.

The staff were excellent - friendly and very helpful when we arrived on our bikes. The tents and bedding are clean, as are the showers and toilets. The tents have charging plugs for phones etc. The location is lovely with views over the sea. You can buy a great selection of local beers and cider at reception to drink at the covered communal tables. Highly recommended! 😀

I would have appreciated a purpose built cooking area/ kitchen but I was grateful to be able to share use of the gas burner . It’s not very clear when you are booking what the kitchen set-up is. Also would have liked a playground for kids

For the price, it felt underwhelming. From the pictures and description I would have thought this was glamping style camping. Whilst the tent itself seemed good quality, there was little inside to match the price point. To begin with, you have to bring your own bed sheets and linen, luckily I checked the messages sent to us before we turned up as there was no obvious indication of this before booking. If I hadn’t, I would have been charged €15 non-refundable. Then I see from other reviews if you do pay this, you still have to put these on yourself, not as shown in the pictures. The bed was wooden pallets and this would have been okay if the ground was even, it’s not. The tents are extremely close to one another so you can hear everything. On arrival we were charged a deposit for the wristbands for the shower. We did get this back but were told money would have been taken if the tent was messy after us. That was all okay. I had two showers in the 24hours I was there and the shower is a nightmare. Only 3 showers for nearly twenty tents I think, holding up to 6 people in a tent. The water turns off every 30-45 seconds which is just annoying. Both times I went to the shower, 8pm and 7am the floor was dirty. No soap or any little extras which I feel like would help for the price point. Just felt like they were doing the minimum for a high price and offering all these extras you would hope for anyway, at an extra cost

The location and the views were beautiful. Staff were good.
