Parking place was quite small and down a small street so a bit inconvenient.

In a lovely village with lots of hiking and other sporting activities. Nice room with a good shower. Very quiet and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent.

Restaurant not open Sundays or Mondays, leaving the only dinner options half a mile away down a steep hill. Anyone with walking difficulties would find this a problem. Breakfast seemed somewhat overpriced. Limited manned reception times . Our room had a significant issue with ants for no obvious reason.

Clean, welcoming and tea and coffee in the room. Separate Toilet to bathroom. Receptionist very welcoming. Safe bike storage.

The receptionist spoke English and greeted us with enthusiasm . The room was clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee. The breakfast was good. The hotel is close to bar’s restaurants and shops.

A bit of a walk to the nearest restaurants other than the hotel's.

Good location, room comfortable and quiet. Bar (for breakfast) and shops and museum nearby. Excellent free parking, Good walks to the Pain de Suvre and over the Rochers des Parcs.

One or two little details would have made the room a bit better for us, but it was still a nice room (bath towels too small for us fatties). We had expected the traditional Easter lamb dish they used to serve but it wasn’t available this time. Still a very nice meal.

Excellent location. The owners are fantastic people. The ethos of using locally sourced quality food is great. And environmentally sound products in rooms. The chef (owner) is very good. Dessert trolley looked amazing and the cheeses were superb. The hotel is clean and welcoming.

Disappointed to find out that the spa was for 1-2 people by reservation only so we weren't able to enjoy it; this wasn't evident on booking.

Very expensive considering the type of room. We got a better room at the Ibis Styles in Laval for 40 EUR cheaper AND breakfasts was included in the price.

Central location and safe cycle storage

The outside space whilst pretty needed some maintenance and cleaning. One of the balcony chairs was covered in bird poo. The balcony itself needed a good clean. I had requested before booking a gluten free option and was told in writing (via booking.com) it would not be a problem. At breakfast there was not any gluten free bread and/or cereals. I had a cup of tea. When I queried this I was told it was not possible to have a gluten free selection. I asked (request accepted) not to be charged for the breakfast. Do not stay there on a Monday! The hotel does not open until 5pm. , the restaurant is closed and the bar only open until 8pm. The hotel is not staffed after 8pm. Dread to think what would happen in an emergency. My husband had the breakfast, whilst okay not good value for money.

The hotel was lovely, the rooms bright and very clean. The receptionist was friendly but left to do everything (breakfast set up, bar, etc).
