There is nothing to dislike about this property. On the night of our stay, it was 36C. The house does not have air conditioning, but the very good quality (silent running fan) was perfect.

Lovely clean and spacious room with patio door overlooking the pool, just perfect. A very friendly host, who spoke good English🙏👏. We loved that our host provided a very nice glass of chilled wine to our poolside seats/table. The fan in the room a very welcome feature.

Everything our hosts were amazing and the location and venue was beautiful xx my partner and I are getting married this weekend and have been cruising around France on route to the chateau and it was the perfect chilled evening before all our guests start to arrive 💓💓🙏🙏

The fact that we were only booked in for one night.

A beautiful traditional stone building with rolling manicured lawns down to the gate, fantastic first impressions, even after a long tiring journey. We were greeted by Valerie, the proprietor. She was delightful, friendly and welcoming.She took us to our rooms and then invited us to join her on the terrace later for a welcome glass of the local wine. A very charming establishment decorated in an elegant modern style. The area set aside for guests on the first floor was very useful, a well equipped kitchenette with a communal fridge and microwave. The breakfast was served at a large table on the ground floor overlooking the pool. A lovely choice of pastries, bread and home made cakes, juice and a choice of hot drinks. Valerie was very helpful suggesting a local restaurant and making a booking for us. She did offer to provide a light meal should we prefer.

If you're on a road trip through France, this place is your oasis where you can feel the real France! Elegance and taste at their finest, for the best price. The host showed a much appreciated solicitude and has best English with French accent.

Everything was lovely. Could have provided shampoo and soap. We normally would expect these but we had our own. We didn't think to ask but I'm sure we would have been given some had we not got any of our own.

We were greeted so warmly. Our host is so well suited to running this business. My apologies I can't remember her name but she was wonderful throughout our stay. The house is wonderfully stylish, spacious and comfortable. Both the interior and exterior are gorgeous. We also very much enjoyed our breakfast. We thoroughly enjoy our visit and have no hesitations in recommending the house and the host to anyone. She honestly deserves lots of praise for how she runs her business. Many thanks for a lovely time.

Nothing. Honestly.

The whole place is utterly charming. We stayed in the gîte and we loved it’s style and comfort. Pretty much everything you need for a few nights is there- washing up liquid, dishwasher and laundry tabs. Just touches that make it easy. WiFi was also good. The surrounding gardens are stunning and you are welcome to wander, lay in a hammock or play boules in a shady glade. Swinging from the rope chair or eating a beautiful, home-made breakfast supplied by Valerie on the terrace, it was all just so relaxing. The pool area is wonderful- a little piece of heaven.

Nothing to dislike. Not an issue for us but its quite a long way away from shops, bars etc.

Quiet location. Safe parking for the car. Very attentive owner/manager looked after us very well. Delightful pool area at the rear of the property.

this is a lovely little, find just outside of Saintes and on a golf course. The place is wonderful and highly recommend this. Our room was fantastic and you just walk straight outside and there is a lovely swimming pool. The hosts went out of their way to be helpful and are a lovely couple. The dog Hamo made our stay as he is such a lovely dog and very friendly. We will stay here again on our trip next year.

Comfortable, warm welcome, relaxed and secure- gated property, which after a 600mile+ journey(4am start) with the car loaded to the gunwales was important. My hosts were charming, thoughtful and generous. Breakfast was superb and I didn’t really want to leave, but…
