Room was a bit pokey for the money and no balcony. Would definitely recommend a garden view - some of the other bedrooms are very close to the road

All the staff were very friendly. Hotel is within walking distance of the man-made lake with swimming and boating facilities. The shops (including two large grocery stores) were also within a short (5 - 10 minutes) leisurely walk of the hotel. There was a free shuttle bus service serving the town and the shopping areas. The bus stops were very close to the hotel. Advice: Not all rooms have air-conditioning and a fridge. If you need either of these, check carefully when you book.

No aircon in room (but there was a fan). The shower was a bit "old style" but functional. No fridge in the room which is fundamental in the summer to keep water or drinks cool (and for the medicine we transport on holidays).

Really nice gardens and pool/spa facilities. Quiet in room and comfortable bed. Food was good at the restaurant and nice to take a stroll down to the lake in the evening to see the sunset. Free parking, lots of space.

A good size room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access. Easy parking. Beautiful surroundings with lots of walks and hikes, and also in walking distance to lovely Embrun centre ville. We stayed with our 2 dogs and it was very easy.

The staff was very helpful and polite. The location was great, very close to the lake, and there was always parking, even on really busy days. They have a nice outdoor seating area in the garden for guests, which was ideal at this time of year.

No AC so we had to keep window open but the bedroom was giving on the street that is getting really noisy especially at night because of car traffic. Sound Isolation between rooms is poor. The facilities are getting really old and would require a big refresh to deserve a 3 stars. No space on the restroom to seat straight. Overall value for money is not interesting at all.

Location close to the lake is the main advantage. Breakfast with good qualify food.

Very good location, near the lake, the river La Durance and a few large grocery stores where we could find food and everything else we needed. Friendly staff and agreeable surroundings. We didn't use the pool/spa. It looked nice though. The room had the toilet in a separate cubicle (French style) from the bathroom (sink + shower).

We were very dissapointed with the staff of the hotel. We were going to have a snack on the benches outside the hotel and very rudely they kicked us out saying we can only have a picnic outside the premises of the hotel. Most of the hotel staff in reception did not even attempt to speak some English so we could understand them. This felt like France in 1990. Also some of the rooms do not have airconditioning - they do tell you about that when you book so you know about it - but even this is like France 1990. And not in a good way. We stayed one night. We wouldnt want to stay more and we are certainly not coming back.

Great hotel, very nicely finished and nice modern room. Spa was a lovely extra. 5 mins walk from plan d'eau activity area with nice walks round the lake. Half hour walk to town centre.
