Restaurant is in a barn like building which is not so good for atmosphere. Food is excellent but the dining options are quite formal so we only ate there one evening. There is not alot of ground floor space in the hotel for relaxing in. We last visited 20 years ago and the personal touch of the family run hotel is not there any more (although staff are friendly)

Lovely grounds, very peaceful, excellent breakfast, beautiful clean swimming pool and a super sauna which made swimming even in dull weather worthwhile. Facilities for snooker, baby foot and pinball so plenty for the young to do Nice location in rural Brittany with beaches a short drive away. Food excellent (but not cheap). Lovely breakfast. It is a beautiful chateau with lovely grounds. Our room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower in a well appointed bathroom. The evening meal and breakfast were both excellent too. Audrey on reception was particularly helpful and happy! ☺️

Breakfast was decent. Evening meal (we had the menu) was okay but expensive for what it was and in this price category one would expect a table cloth etc. We ate much better and nicer in restaurants outside.

I think the excuse for not having AC is more about investor/owners' decisions than preserving the monument (they removed the very obvious old shutters and installed blinds!). Similarly, while there have been efforts to maintain the interior decor (still in good condition) and room arrangements, it ages quickly in a manor like this (some smells in the corridors, a broken mirror not replaced in a tiny elevator, etc. "The Devil is in the details"!). And most importantly, please add a small fridge in the room - the "heritage preservation" won't be affected by it! The pool: nice but not up to par... the sauna room had a leaking shower that flooded some guests who were around the pool, there were -too many- loose/wobbling tiles, and weeds growing between the tiles (!). There needs to be a real effort to make this place pleasant and some investments in maintenance - obviously. Additionally, there is no drink service at the pool - so you have to go to the bar, if it's open. We would have liked also to have vending machines for ice or drinks available at night, and maybe a bigger TV screen. Additionally, the check-in time at 5 PM and check-out time at 11 AM were inconvenient - although as I said Audrey really welcomed us nicely and allowed us to access the room earlier... But this increasingly common practice in Hotels in France is becoming quite frustrating. Note: We didn't try the restaurant as we were not in the mood for another fancy French meal. Instead, we had a fantastic dinner in the center of Quimper.

Stunning from the outside and somewhat unique inside, albeit a bit dark. The manor is quite impressive inside and out, but it's important to know what you're getting into... The location and surrounding countryside are very quiet and pleasant. I believe it's mostly suited for weddings and group events, not ideal for families. Our room was located in the main building. Be mindful of the bar and check-in hours! And no AC ... (!) Wi-Fi worked fine :) Overall, the place is very clean, with a fantastic young team doing their best at reception, cleaning, and the bar (special thanks to Audrey for the warm welcome!). We appreciated the fan provided in our room and -especially- the early check-in, along with the robes and other amenities.
