Need to be down early for breakfast... we were on a leisurely holiday and by 9a.m. there really wasnt much left.

Wonderful old building with some character features (Grand Staircase with Stained Glass Window). Our room was nice clean and comfortable with aircon (essential in summer). As a whole the hotel was quiet and restful. Although not a problem for us there is no elevator so those with limited mobility should keep this in mind. Inhouse restaurant provided a very pleasant dining experience. Very easy walk to the main square surrounded by many bars, restaurants and a few shops. Main shopping streets run off the square. Free Parking is readily available 200m away under shady trees.

The shower didn't have a wall-mounted holder so I had to hold the shower in my hand to wash my hair. The curtains also didn't close properly so had to use my hair clip, and use the table to wedge it to the wall to keep the light out. When I checked out on Sunday, there was not a single soul around, not a problem for me but if you need help, not sure if anyone is there!

I stayed 2 nights for a wedding in the area. The hotel is 3 min walk from the main square and the river, and 1 min from a Carrefour Express if you need it. The hotel is charming and very clean, the staff are friendly and the Manager even offered me a bottle of water to take to my room when I asked him to fill up my water bottle. I would go back for sure!

Check in process was complicated. To be fair I did just book before arriving, but I feel it could have been smoother. I also don't speak good French, which made it harder.

The hotel was completely un-manned when we arrived, no-one on reception, or elsewhere! No lights on either! TBH we found that a bit shoddy, considering the cost!

Excellent location right in front of the market. There is a weekly market on Fridays when the town comes alive. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the room spacious. Great tub/shower.

Picked a very quiet and peaceful week which was wonderful but weren't sure if the hotel restaurant was open or not.

Can't beat the location. Great base to explore the area. Calm and relaxed atmosphere. Plentiful breakfast.

A very convenient location close to free parking and the center town square. The hotel staff are very friendly and responsive, the rooms clean and quiet, and while we didn't use the restaurant we have heard it is very good.

The decoration was vile and random, unfinished and matched the weird feeling in the entire 'hotel' We had breakfast (only one boiled egg available as chef was off) in the dark until the young girl turned the lights on. WEIRD - WEIRD - WEIRD!!

The Hotel was DESERTED after 6.00 - the lights were off and it was the WEIRDEST feeling of being alone in a strange place with NO STAFF. Definitely a minus 5 for irresponsibility
