It was good and room for our car parking. The cost were good. Also the large bed was great and comfortable, no back pains and slept well, thanks Claude you were right!!

Just that our room was up the stairs which gave my partner a slight struggle, as he had recently had a Hip replacement.

Air conditioning was erratic as it stopped in the middle of night. The heavy covers made it uncomfortable. Room had minimalistic space and furniture. Foul smell was observed from time to time. Not sure if it was the water.

This was a great find! Extremely welcoming and friendly hosts couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is clean, lovely bedding and towels and a good value continental breakfast for €6.90. Two minutes off the A10 it was a perfect stopover after a long day travelling. First impressions of the location are strange as it is basically in the middle of an industrial estate but don't let that put you off! It has a nice, quirky outdoor space and it felt very safe leaving our loaded car there overnight. As we were tired and didn't want to venture out too far for food, Claude the host recommended Au Top du Roulier, just around the corner, where all the truck drivers eat, and what a great experience that was! Three courses, as much as you could eat for €14! And €2 for half a litre of very drinkable wine! All in all a great night's stopover!

Initially dubious about the location but all doubts promptly dismissed as soon as we entered the hotel.

A lovely welcome when we arrived very late in the evening- the gentleman on duty was very welcoming and hospitable. Great location off the motorway for people breaking up a long drive. Beds were unbelievably comfortable - great mattresses. Excellent value for money.

The room was very small. The air conditioning unit has no remote, it is operated from reception and it’s kept at 25 degrees. It was 38 degrees and as an asthma sufferer I really needed some air in the room, there was no air. The bed was uncomfortable, the bedding wasn’t clean, the decoration of the room was old and very old fashioned. It was a dark small claustrophobic room. The bathroom had mould in all the grout of the tiles. There was only half a toilet roll supplied. The shower was just a trickle of water. The floor of the room and bathroom wasn’t clean. When we got there we was handed a towel at reception, as if we was going to run off with a towel. No lift The walls to the room are very thin and you can hear everything ! We was shattered from a ten hour drive but it was so loud, doors slamming, showers running , a couple arguing and some very loud sex noises. We did not have breakfast. Outside area was also rundown , old and tired looking. It was located on an industrial site in a very industrial area of Poitiers. We paid via booking.com , and the price on the door of the hotel was nearly 30 euros cheaper than what we paid on the website. Staff didn’t speak English and I don’t speak French so I couldn’t communicate my upset about the price issues. To clarify , I am not in the habit of leaving a bad review, I understand business rely on these reviews for custom. However, I was really upset with this hotel

The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are excellent. There is also a great value for money bar and restaurant next door.

The hotel has a very friendly atmosphere, it is a very clean room and hotel, continental breakfast was brilliant, although set in an industrial estate the hotel doesn't reflect that.

Somehow this hotel guy through my filters. It doesn't yet have AC or elevators which I use as ways to filter out such accomodations.

Location great. Staff excellent abd very friendly. Can't do enough for you. Very helpful and speak good English
