Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe Spa facilities were undergoing renovation and were disappointing. I doubt that we’d have used those facilities anyway, but Spa is in the hotel’s name and should be a feature.
Breakfast was delicious and excellent. Location was great — very easy to walk to famous places or take short Uber rides. All of the staff members we met were exceptional — very friendly and super helpful! We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we return to Paris, and will recommend it to others.

AustraliaFrom the moment we arrived, we had an incredible experience. Yosser gave us the warmest welcome and even gifted us an incredible breakfast – the pastries and the meals were unforgettable! Rooms were spotless, modern, cleaned daily, and stocked with luxurious Clarins toiletries. The location was unbeatable – walking distance to most monuments and restaurants, with the metro right around the corner for the Eiffel Tower. Staff were outstanding, always helpful and accommodating. Walid even arranged a late checkout for our midnight flight, which was such a lifesaver. The entire staff were so attentive throughout our entire stay. Couldn’t have asked for a better Paris stay – highly recommend!

IsraelIn the last days of our stay, they didn’t replenish the hand soap in the bathroom.
The hotel was in an excellent location, the room was clean, very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, and everything looked new. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Most importantly, the service from the hotel staff was excellent — they helped us a lot with every question we had. In particular, Yosser’s service was outstanding; she was very kind, helped us with all our transportation needs, and answered every question we had. We didn’t notice that our room didn’t have a minibar — this is something to pay attention to when making a reservation. However, even in this case, the hotel’s kind staff agreed to store the items we bought in the hotel café’s refrigerator.
