Nice manoir not far from Riom and Volvic. Good location for hiking the the region. Calm location and lovely swimming pool!

We loved this beautiful property, full of charm, a beautiful setting, with fresh water flowing from a natural spring into a small pond in front of the manor.

The restroom .. a little tiny

The swimming pool : the water is coming from the same source as Volvic and they did not use chlore . The room was large with high ceiling , ancient charming and bed was modern and very comfortable! They have a closed parking . Breakfast was made of local products.

If I had to be picky, I'd like a couple more electical sockets in the room but that really is all I could say. This is a very old building so you cant expect all modern standards. Just enjoy the atmoshere of the place.

Easy to find in a nice quiet village, but not far from the shops and restaurants in Riom. Accomadation was excellent - you really are staying in an authentic French manor house! The room was huge with stunning views over the valley. This is a much more interesting place to stay compared to the normal Ibis hotels we usually stop at. The lady in charge was very friendly and breakfast was simple and satisfying. All local and home made cheeses and jams and a selecton of fresh breads and croisants!

Lovely quiet location beautiful garden, open air swimming pool with fantastic views. Lovely airy bedroom great shower and comfortable bed. Great continental breakfast with fresh fruit from the garden, excellent cheese and bread . Lovely host very helpful. Secure parking.

It was truly a spectacular place! I think we assumed that there would be somewhere to go for dinner or lunch close by, but we had to drive to get groceries or go out to eat. I understand that this is on us, but please just know that this is quite a remote small village.

Breakfast was simple but very generous. There were many options including apple juice from the trees that grow on the property behind the hotel.

Stunning house , room and gardens . view from the window was breath taking . very peaceful and relaxing. Host Rosy was very welcoming and laid out a spectacular, fresh breakfast , all local produce.

sadly no restaurant within walking distance, new mall near by seems to have destroyed the town of Marsat. Remember to bring a picnic dinner, it’s a beautiful location for a picnic dinner but I wouldn’t want to use this location for too long because it is a bit isolated.

What a wonderful experience! I came expecting very little, yet was overwhelmed by the warmth and friendliness of Rosie and Fabrice. They accommodated all my needs and so much more. Because of the petrol crisis I was stuck with no petrol. It was however no problem for Fabrice that drove miles to help me out. A came as a stranger but will be leaving as a friend!
