Frederick is the owner of this wonderful establishment. He was extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for him. The property is wonderfully furnished with top quality furnishings ,bed linen and toiletries. We enjoyed a perfect nights sleep and then to cap it all, the breakfast was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this super guest house and will certainly be heading back there the next time we visit France.

Small thing but there was nowhere gir a woman to sit and put makeup on , dressing table area in our room … maybe as it was split level so room was upstairs

The rooms are all no-smoking, and our room was just fine. However, downstairs did smell of cigarette smoke.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, giving us breakfast at an especially early time to suit our travel plans. They also recommended an excellent local eatery,

Would have preferred an independent shower, but for a short stay the bath and shower mixer tap were fine. Second bedroom would benefit from a wardrobe or hanging space.

A nice welcome from Sophie and Jérôme, very warm decor, spacious and comfortable rooms, (we went there last year), a marvellous swimming pool (29°), and wow...a splendid breakfast, local cheeses and home made fruit tart...3km from Trouville, 10k from Honfleur makes it the perfect location...

1. It was difficult to communicate with the owners, as we only have school-level French, and they can't really speak English. 2. Mattress and pillows could be better. 3. The strict "no food on the premises" policy.

1. Beautiful private accommodation, garden and heated salt-water pool are amazing and a lovely oasis away from the busy towns nearby. 2. Breakfast was delicious and a good start to the day. The bread, croissants, ham and cheese were especially good. 3. Private, secure parking was a great bonus. 4. Clean, fresh towels were available on request. 5. Room (2) was spacious, and had a private entrance. 6. Netflix and Prime TV pre-installed on the TV, so it was easy to connect our own accounts 7..Small property, so we had almost exclusive use of the pool on several occasions.

Leaving the Manoir de la Croix Sonnet...and going back home..

Fantastic Breakfast...nice coffe, apple tart and local cheeses. I did like a lot having a full French Baguette and fresh croissants. Delicious Normand butter too.. our host was delightful. It is a shame we were in April, even though the weather was very sunny, it was too early in the season to take advantage of the swimming pool. Perfect location too, 3 miles from the charming Trouville and 7 miles from Honfleur. Roomy bedroom, electric shutters...a wonderful Easter Week End. Excellent quality for the price.!
