The Manoir is in a beautiful and fascinating location. It is located in a working stud farm where racing horses are bred and raised. We enjoyed watching the horses with their very young colts exercising in fields around the house. The house is furnished with a lot of horse related decor. The proprietor was friendly and we enjoyed talking with her.

It was a little hard to find the proprietor when we arrived but she appeared soon so all was well.

Great country side retreat, peaceful and quiet. Horses were terrific to look at and interact. Very pleasant house master. Great place to start the Calvados route and cider tasting at the local distilleries.

WiFi may be OK for sporadic use, but not for business.

The property was stunning and so peaceful. It was a unique experience for us to stay at a working stud farm, and it was fascinating to see the grounds and all the beautiful animals. Our host Elizabeth was fantastic. She greeted us the moment we arrived and made us feel so welcome. She was always available if we had questions, and she made us amazing breakfasts each morning that were served in the most beautiful main room of the building, just down the stairs from our room.

It was hot and still when we were there, so we would have liked a fan in the room for sleeping. We opened the windows, but it didn't cool off very much at night.
