There is nothing to dislike about this Property,,

This is a 5 star Beautiful property with 6 star service, Fabulous breakfast & very comfortable beds. Our accommodation was spotlessly clean. Only 50 meters from the beach, Restaurants & museums, a super location. Paul the owner and all the staff were so helpful with everything..As a D-Day enthusiast, this place is very special.

    Nothing to not like

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at DDay Aviators Le Manoir and would highly recommend staying there. It was the last night of our holiday and we wished we could have stayed longer. We will certainly be back for longer next time we are in the area. All the WW2 memorabilia Anne and Paul have collected is amazing and so interesting. Breakfast was very good and we particularly liked the Glen Miller music playing in the background!

    Nothing to dislike.

This was not just a hotel. It was an actual experience. The manager and his wife have collected so many historical aviation artefacts which are on show. he took time to show us around and his knowledge was very extensive. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The bathroom was especially lovely.

It too way too long to check in and it seemed a bit disorganized. Also, our key to the room didn't work at all. Luckily, we had an outside private entrance so I guess it was okay for one night.

Excellent if quirky. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel like this before. But it was very unique. The bathroom and bedroom was great. We also had a cool terrace.

The bed linen was a bit dated, and could have been more modern.

It is an old Manoir, which is very attractive, but without a lift, which can be a challenge if your mobility is impaired. It is also an Aviators museum, with memorabilia everywhere. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The bathrooms have been modernised and the shower was excellent. The location is very close to the town and beach, so it is only a short walk to the amenities. There is limited parking in the hotel grounds, but we did not have any problem parking there.

Nothing everything was superb we wish we could have stayed longer but unfortunately it was our last night we obviously saved the best till last!

Amazing collection of WW2 aviation artifacts. The host was very welcoming and informative and gave us a lovely tour of the property and its historical content. He was able to recommend a nearby restaurant for a lovely tasty reasonably priced meal. Close proximity to the beach and museum. Beautifully furnished with just the right mix of vintage and new. Close proximity of off road paid parking. Tea and coffee making facilities and fridge in room. Outstanding breakfast the best we've had during our 13 days travelling around different areas of France beautifully set out with waitress service. We hope to return again when visiting Normandy.

We liked everything - no complaints or notes

This hotel is delightful and quirky, located in a renovated old home within steps of the Atlantic Ocean. The owners are aviation enthusiasts (at least one is a pilot) and have collected a huge array of artifacts and memorabilia as well as photographs and art related to DDay, and it is lavishly displayed throughout the building, We were traveling with our adult daughter and wanted a two bedroom suite, which they offered. It was well equipped and charming. The breakfast room even featured part of an ancient cockpit! (The breakfast was also terrific).

We spent two nights at D-Day Aviators – Le Manoir at the end of May and were thoroughly impressed. The location is excellent, just steps from the beach and central Arromanches. The house is beautifully decorated with authentic WWII aeronautical artifacts, creating a truly unique atmosphere. Upon arrival, our host Paul gave us a fascinating tour of the house, explaining the stories behind the items on display. His friendly dog, Hunter, added an extra touch of warmth to the stay. Breakfast was superb—generous, fresh, and delicious. A very special and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Getting in the gate is a little tricky - but we figured it out and appreciated the onsite parking.

It was convenient to all of the D-Day beaches. The unique decor, which included historical objects associated with WWII aviation, really added to our experience. We loved all of the object stories and chatting with our host. Our customized breakfast was delicious and waiting for us each morning. We would love to go back.

The hotel is comfortable and clean with a very good breakfast, but most of all it is completely unique, crammed full of remarkable WWII aviation memorabilia, equipment, airplane parts, etc. The owner will offer to take you round the place when you check in, and talk about some of the items. You should accept, of course.

    nothing.

The owners are super passionate about history and it shows. The hotel itself is a museum filled with artifacts about DDay. The location is perfect for visiting the DDay beaches - as well as being close to restaurants. We went around Normandy and Paris on our trip - and the breakfast at Aviators was the best meal we had the entire time. Thanks!

Our memorable stay was situated a few steps from the beach, museum, eateries, and shops. The room we stayed had a beautiful window view of the ocean from our bedroom. Le Manoir itself is a mini-museum with a lot of artifacts/pieces. We really enjoyed our stay. The owner, his wife and his staff( a gentleman) were very kind. The breakfast was a nice spread which you choose when you first check in. The house is old which gives it its charm so expect quaint features expected with an older home. We would stay here again.
