Gorgeous property. Tucked away in the middle of nowhere but very close to Cherbourg. The host was lovely - there is a nice tennis court that we were able to use. Stayed in the family garden view suit. The rooms were exceptional and we all had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was fantastic - fresh pastries and bread and loads of other options. Would certainly stay again and recommend.

Bathroom was a bit tired. Wifi signal was hit and miss in master bedroom. Better elsewhere.

Very secure for motorbikes. Owners very attentive. Impressive rooms, lots of space. Great breakfast.

+ The breakfast was very nice. Good coffee, a large range of teas with a kettle for boiling water, hot & cold milk and juices and water. Croissants, Pain au Chocolat, Brown Bread and Baguette were all very fresh. + The surroundings were lovely - tennis & basketball court, a pretty lake, lovely gardens + Very peaceful + lovely decor - very historic

A lovely Manor House. Fantastic bedroom suite with two bedrooms. Large excellent bathroom. Lovely breakfast in a salon overlooking the garden. Friendly owners. Couldn’t fault it.

Breakfast was fresh, varied and very tasty. We liked the different breads and the lovely fresh fruit salad. Excellent coffee and a wide choice of tea. Our rooms were huge and very comfortable beds. It was a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful old manor

Beautiful Manor House in a quiet spot, but a short journey into Cherbourg. Lovely host who welcomed us and shared some of the history of the property. Very comfortable bed.

Warm welcome from a delightful host. Beautiful house in an idyllic setting. Elegant & very comfortable room. Excellent homemade breakfast - even the eggs were produced in the garden! Highly convenient location for taking the Cherbourg ferry back to the UK, as an easy 11 km from the Manoir. The ultimate stress free option to a journey.

Be warned that there aren’t really any restaurants nearby for evening dinner. Fine if you have a car but we were on our bikes so a little more tricky.

Fantastic old-school grandeur: high ceilings, for-poster bed, chaise longue. Beautiful grounds and tennis court. The owner was very friendly, accommodating and went out of her way to help us get some food

Very spacious and grand accommodation, furnished in keeping with historical character of house. Very atmospheric and peaceful environment in which we were made to feel very welcome by our friendly hosts. Wonderful breakfast in the dining room looking onto the garden with fresh fruit and homemade produce.

We arrived late after having to book same day and we were greeted by a huge smile and friendly dog. The Manor is a beautiful old house and the family clearly take pride in having people to stay. The room and furniture are classic and characterful with the perfect arrangement for a family stay. Our two girls had an adjoining room to ours and princess beds. The bathroom alone was bigger than most hotel rooms we end up squishing into as we stopover when driving through France. The beds were comfy, the shower big, the water warm and the whole experience memorable. We all slept well, hidden away behind the huge sleep-friendly shutters. You can self-serve teas and coffees and the owner even brought us a plate of madelines and chocolates to have with our evening tea and hot chocolates. The following morning we were presented with a variety of warm pastries and fresh coffee, along with homemade rhubarb jam. We didn't get to see the grounds in their best light as it was a winters's day but I imagine it's a good place to explore and stay for a few days in the summer too.
