Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesShower water pressure is not the best, but temperature control works fine. Bed is okay, but a little springy. Location was good for us (with a car), but probably not for most people without a car. About a 15-minute walk to RER Line B.
Free water station on every floor with carbonate water. A/C works fine. Curtains that allow dark rooms at night. Desk space to work. Good internet speed. Free parking onsite (at least for us). Restaurants that are open late are close by (but you need a car to drive to them).

NetherlandsWhen we arrived after a long day drive, there was no one on reception. After waiting too long we were shown to our room which was not appropriate for my family. There was no cot - even after getting multiple emails and messages saying there would be one. I had to go find a baby cot myself. The room was awfully small. The staff were the most unhelpful I have come across.
The location for out trip meant this hotel was perfect for one long day of travel, a stop, and then carry on our journey to Clermont Ferrand.
