There is nothing they could do on this but the location while convenient as it is close to the train station did not feel extremely safe at night especially for female travellers. If travelling alone as a woman I would reccomend to take a uber to go back instead of walking.

The staff was extremely friendly and nice, the hotel looked like the picture nice and the bed was comfortable. Good communication on emails as well. I stayed at the meininger in mannheim too and very similar vibes.

Everything was perfect !

The hotel is located about a 10-minute walk from Saint-Jean train station. Just 3 minutes away, around the corner, there is a Carrefour City supermarket. The city center is also close, about a 25-minute walk. The room is spacious, with a large bathroom, very clean, a comfortable bed, and good air conditioning. The breakfast buffet is very good, and the hotel staff are very friendly. There is also a kitchen available if you wish to cook for yourself, as well as a billiard table. I highly recommend this hotel!

There wasn't anything I didn't like. Everything met or exceeded my expectations.

Extremely modern, comprehensive installation. I didn't expect the air hocky table in the lobby! Staff was efficient, check-in and all optional services were easy to navigate. Conveniently close to the train station. I found the beds particularly comfy, too.

Bit far out of a trek out of town but good for older kids and adults or with a pushchair for smaller ones to get in and out of the centre.

Excellent value for a family room. Close to train station and about 30 min walk into city centre. We stayed 1 night and opted for a late 2pm check out for an extra 15€ which was cheaper than storing bags. Would definitely use this chain in other cities

The air con didn't work well because the hotel was full. The lighting was quite oppressive.

The staff were fantastic: extremely welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Immaculate and spacious room with toiletries. A lovely family vibe. Security is a priority. For example, you have to key in a code to get into the hotel and the lift will only work with the key card to your room. There's a pool table in the bar and other games for adults and children near reception.

The room is a little bit dark with the curtains, lights in the room is not enough to brighten the room. If only the pillows are more soft.

It is my third stay at Meininger Hotel in Europe. I like the concept of the this hotel chain. This hotel is close to the main station. The room is wide.

Neighnourhood

Location is very good if you need to catch trains, very easy from The train station. Not easy to get downtown though. Felt a bit unconfortable at Times as it didnt always feel safe. But nothing serious.

They didn’t clean the room before our arrival and I found some hair in two beds. After mentioning to the staff, they took some actions.
