How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It’s pick of the summer hot .. hotel does not have a proper air conditioning system . So when you are coming back hot you remain so for long .

The unexpected €150 holding fee taken off my credit card when I booked in. Im not sure if guests are aware that this is the hotel policy. Any drinks, breakfast and city tax is deducted from this holding fee.
Great location with plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooftop bar was a bonus. I also liked that guests had access to a water machine in reception.

2 main negatives - 1. The bed was uncomfortable. 2. It was very noisy - not sure if they have quieter rooms located elsewhere which would be useful to know for future. So although as mentioned above the room was fine, what we did need was a good night's sleep and unfortunately we didn't get it.
The location was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The information received before our stay was very good and appreciated. The room was small but we're not staying in a city centre hotel for the room.

We stayed for 2 nights we asked if we could change our room as we found the 1st room a little small and noisy. The staff were very good and accommodating and the 2nd room was very good. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. We will stay again, particularly due to the staff in the hotel.

Room could have been a bit bigger but not a problem
The hotel is very well situated. The breakfasts are very good. The room we were in was a bit small but very comfortable and very adequate, The breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful. All in all, a very good base for a break in Nice

The hairdryer wasn't working and they did not provide slippers (although I did bring my own). The view from my room was just another building and the wallpaper was frankly a bit creepy. But the rest was great! Would love to visit again as it is reasonably priced for the services they provide along with the location of the hotel.
I loved absolutely everything except that the hair dryer in my room was not working. There is no spa or swimming pool at the hotel but I knew it while booking. My room was very clean, proper, and comfortable! The breakfast was absolutely delicious exceeded my expectations 1000% The staff is extremely kind, helpful, and polite. The location of the hotel is also great, very close to all major tourist attractions. A 10 min walk from the beach! The locality is also safe. I had a lovely time.

However hotel is old. Doors windows need to close very hard. Shower water pressesure is very less. Breakfast was not have lot of varities. For example : No fruits yogart packets, no omlet, not lot of fruits salad. Only two fruits cutted were available everyday. Breakfast croissant was very nice.

The first time we opened our window it fell off of its hinges and onto the floor. Very scary. Fortunately no one was hurt and the glass didn't break. Of course they moved us to a different room.
The staff was particularly nice and helpful.

The air conditioning was not switched in for the entire hotel. The weather during our stay was warm so the room was a little uncomfortable for sleep at night.
Good location. Quiet street. Very good buffet breakfast. Room had great blackout curtains.

Beds are very hard. Lifts didn't display the correct floors.
Good location; lots of restaurants nearby. Excellent breakfast. Roof terrace is lovely and quiet.
