How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

So-so breakfasts. Impressively terrible coffee (my wife, who has so low standards that she gulps down even instant coffee, couldn't drink it :). Beware that the hotel advertises laundry service, but apparently (per reception) stopped providing it at least a year ago.
Location, modern rooms with enough space.

Nothing to complain about. Pls only be aware that can be tricky to park bigger cars in underground garage.

The breakfast buffet was not bad, but there was only one waiter; once something finished you have to wait before it was replaced. The overall service doesn’t fit the price paid and the standard of a 4 star hotel
The room was big and clean, the position is great for visiting St. Raphael and the nearby

1st floor, not much light coming in despite the sea view. A lot of work going on at the moment on the sea front, which the hotel cannot do anything about.
Bedroom nicely laid out and spacious. Kettle with tea and coffee, nuxe products in the bathroom, comfy bed. At night you can ear the waves crashing.

Nothing.
From the moment we arrived, Faustine, the General Manager, was so welcoming and helpful and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The location is perfect, right next to the beach and so many lovely restaurants to choose from. Breakfast was really good. Slim, the guy who sorted breakfast out every morning was so kind and warm, nothing was too much trouble. Slim made us and our dog so welcome every morning. Faustine, Slim, Claudia and Sofia are a credit to the company.

The room could have been bigger, it was quit pokey - we had to ask for extra blankets in the room as there weren't any on the first night.
The location was perfect, very well situated for the beach, local bars, restaurants and shops and train station. The breakfast was fresh and varied. The staff were extremely helpful and professional.

The hotel is perfect and has been meticulously renovated. It’s a pleasure to spend time in this hotel, which is ideally located just a stone's throw from the train station and directly across from the beach. I stayed for work, but it was wonderful to take a dip in the sea both in the morning and evening. However, the highlight of my stay was the staff. I was truly amazed by their friendliness and hospitality. I was welcomed like royalty, and this made all the difference. The freshly renovated hotel combined with a highly competent and professional team creates an experience that’s hard to beat. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a delightful blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. It’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again!

Only issues were the door to the bathroom didn't fully close (doesn't fit properly) and Netflix or the TV didn't work in our room. But No major issues.
The hotel has recently been renovated. It's beautiful, comfortable and in a great location 3 minutes from the station and 30sec walk to the beach. The staff are excellent.
