How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast was too expensive so we found coffee and croissants elsewhere.
Location is good for exploring the city and places to eat as well as being in a quiet side street. Not far to walk from station or one stop on metro. We were welcomed by a lovely lady that spoke excellent English. All staff helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and a good size. A great plus was the free still and sparkling water dispenser to top up our bottles.

The shower door didn’t seal well so the bathroom floor got a bit wet.
Location is great, close to Place Wilson. Lots of restaurants in the area. The staff at reception were super helpful in assisting me to retrieve my luggage which got misplaced by the airline en route to Toulouse.

Exceptionally pleasant and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Comfortable bed. We had a very quiet room facing the courtyard. The weather was very cold but it was possible to reduce the heating to suit ourselves which is not always possible in hotels. A very short walk from the airport bus stop. Very well situated for historic sites, restaurants and shops.

excellent location right in the center of the city. The room was extremely quiet with a nice balcony. The parking is easy to access from the busy streets.

The garage. To park the car one has to go down on a very narrow ramp with a sharp bend. Unless you have a small size car I don’t recommend using the garage. For my Mercedes C it was almost impossible.

Car Park - I advised I had a large car with make and model. The only place I could park was alongside some SUVs - fortunately there was a space. the access to the second floor down is too narrow for a long car and I told them they need to be aware of that in future as I would have got stuck! the breakfast at 21 euros each is way too expensive! we ate out every day to save some money - a good breakfast out is around 11 or 12 euros for eggs and bacon and 8 euros for good continental. Come on Mercure - make it affordable!
location is excellent for getting round Toulouse old town. Metro stop close by. Staff always smiling and helpful to us.

I really liked this hotel, so the ‘minuses’ are all minor ones. The hooks on the bathroom door were far too small and so the towels kept dropping off. While I understand the need for mattress protectors, it’s really a vicious circle: they are meant to stop any liquid from reaching the mattress, but they make you sweat so badly themselves! Lastly, and again - a minor and personal peeve - the decor. I had forgotten Mercure hotels have a purple theme and I have a purple aversion, so my room wasn’t the most restful, visually. Also, the decor in the reception area is not the greatest: the carpet looks as though acid has been thrown all over it, the chandeliers and armchairs could have been from a pantomime set - oversized and ugly and finally - what is the point of those heavy revolving doors? But, as I said, these are all minor complaints and all very subjective.
The location was perfect for me: only 15 minutes walk from where I was working and on the edge of the historic centre of Toulouse. The welcome was friendly, the room spacious, the bed comfortable, the shower easy to use and pretty decent. Breakfast choice was outstanding. I am coeliac, so it is always lovely when there is a good range of food offered (which isn’t just croissant & baguettes). In this case, you could have mixed salad and fruit and there were loads of yoghurts

Hard to say. There was nothing that jarred with me. I would like the rooms to be bigger - but that is like saying I would like the rate to be cheaper!
Staff are friendly & helpful. The Wi-Fi was easily accessable and the room facilities were good. I did not have breakfast. There were hangers in the wardrobe (I had business attire so that was really helpful). I would stay there again.

The quality of the room furnishings was poor for a 4 star hotel. Needs a redo.
Great staff! Very welcoming and accommodating. Special thanks to Blandine at the Front Desk. Superb location. Onsite parking available.
