An amazing location, the owners couldn't do enough for you. After I returned late one evening after completing in the La Marmotte. They reopened the kitchen and provided our group with a 3 course meal. Lovely people with beautiful views. The food was delicious 😋 Great for cycling, walking. The wildlife was awesome. So peaceful and relaxing after a days cycling.

Had to share a room with 2 friends that both snored all night.

    Property response:

Hello Daren, it was normal for us to re-open the kitchen for you 3 after the race you did! We're happy you loved it :) Hopefully next time you'll catch our ear-plus on the reception desk, if you come with the same snoring friends :D Thank you 3 a lot!

    Amazing staff!

Little isolated if you don’t have a car.

a superb hostel just next to alpe d’huez pistes Its a high-end hostel for a bargain price. Staff is amazing. Common areas are like a 5-star hotel.

nothing. maybe adding a small fridge would be nice

Not all dinners are worth the price.

A relaxed chilled vibe, very comfortable, great breakfast, informal, traditional chalet style

There seems to be an issue with getting the fire properly lit, which is so disappointing.

Modern version of a classic hostel with a 6 bunk room, and was the only affordable lodging I could find in the Alp Duez region at the time. Nice communal seating/dining area and bar service with tasty beers on tap. Very nice staff and family friendly atmosphere. Oz is a tiny village but there's a grocery market and a few restaurants nearby, as well as meals served at the hostel for an extra fee. Easy access to the ski lifts and pistes once you're there.

It would be very helpful to have more information about how to get there without an automobile. (You can ride the gondola up from Allemond, but it closes at 6pm.) I arrived by bus in Bourg d' Oisans after the free local bus service stopped for the night and had to take an expensive taxi ride to get to the hostel. I would have simply come earlier if I had known this beforehand, and Google Maps didn't list any regional or local bus information here.

excellent location. the private room was perfect and had a beautiful view. the bathroom was a good size and modern. felt more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. good beer at the bar!

A great place for families , groups and singles - everyone mixed and was friendly. Lovely resort - not for those seeking apres ski nightlife . Sebastian and his team were wonderful. Really comfy beds. Food was perfect , all just a stones throw from the slopes .
