Comfortable lounge and backyard, good breakfast, easy access.

Bed was screaking a lot. Noise.

The location was excellent for visiting Aiguille du Midi, which was the main reason we booked this lodge.

The iron beds on tiled floors were not very comfortable and creaked a lot. Breakfast could be improved – a fresh croissant or some local products would be much nicer than packaged ones. Overall, for the price, we expected a bit more care and attention to the facilities.

Relatively clean, bathroom big enough. Breakfast included and available at any time.

Only one bathroom with toilet for the whole floor. Noisy beds. Small rooms. Location bit far.

Very clean, really good location, there was breakfast laid out all day to help ourselves, free tea, coffee and juices were available all day as well! Hostel was surrounded by Mountain View’s as well

This must be the most comfortable place to stay in Chamonix. I’ll be forever grateful that there was a place to store my baggage while I went for the Tour du Mont Blanc.

This is probably my 5th time staying at this property. It’s an easy walk from the bus station, easy self check in, and while basic accommodations it’s everything you need for the start or end of your hiking adventure. Unfortunately this last time I accidentally left my sneakers on the shoe shelf by the front door (no shoes are allowed to be worn in the lodge) when I left for my multi day hike in my hiking boots. I realized when I returned, just 6 days later, that I never moved them to the storage room with my luggage. They were no where to be found and after messaging the host I learned that the cleaning person had “disposed” of them and there was no way for me to get them back. I was definitely surprised and upset. They said a group had rented the entire house and they used that moment to clear away all clutter (left items) from the house. I think it seems unreasonable not to have a policy that puts them aside for enough time for hikers to come back and claim anything left behind by accident. I hope they change this policy for the future to help guest get their items back. I was definitely at fault for not moving them out to the storage room, but sometimes things get left behind by accident. Seems harsh to dispose of guests’ shoes so quickly.

I like only location , and option to leave my bags in the provided storage.

The room for two with tine bathroom for $200 during the pick season it is ok, but the cocroach in the bed and in the kitchen is beyond... no, I didn't like it.

It had everything I needed, comfortable bed, hot shower, decent. Breakfast, a place to cook and to hang out in the back.

Very small rooms (2 bunk beds). Back deck was not very inviting. Couch cushions and big couch on the ground were a little dirty.

Super easy to get into. It has a sauna! It’s super cute and felt very homey. The bathrooms and rooms are very nice. They have a lounge area and a community office area.

I liked everything.

Very good location and nice kitchen. The view is amazing as well.

I think if the bathroom has a plug point for hair dryer that would have been helpful.

Easy to find, good communication, small dorms, nice setting, easy 10 min walk to town

No staff to chat to. Slightly noisy room as near to communal area.

Basically a hostel. No fresh food at breakfast. Coffee machine gave up and no staff on hand to help.

The bunk bed was noisy when turning or moving.

I had a great stay here, before and after my TMB. It's clean and relatively quiet. It had everything I needed and you can snack on breakfast items 24/7 also, free teas and coffees from the modern machine.

The rooms are a little small but that's only a minor issue.

Clean and comfortable. Helpful staff.
