Staff a bit slow in handling guests, we had to wait over 20min in queue (only 1 person was doing check-ins and bar).

Great location, very nice building and facilities. We could check-in at 12. It also has parking and pet friendly.

Doors on en-suite glass so using at night disturbing roommate. Also noisy.They afford no privacy.Poor design. Some books in other languages would be nice.

- Breakfast has to be improved. For 17€ per person, it is way too expensive. For that price, it needs more choice, better quality products and maybe freshly made on request (eggs for example) - Additionally the breakfast section is not well organized, you have to take a plateau but it is not visible because it is too high. The glasses are almost on the ground. At the end you have to put your plateau in the tray but most people do not see it at the beginning and so they cannot put the plateau in the tray. Means stuff has more work to clean it. - the mattress is too thin, it is "ok" but it could be a bit more comfortable.

Apparently we staid during "La fete de la musique", so there was a DJ with loud music in the courtyard until 2am. It would have been good to be notified in advance about such an event and the impact on a nights rest.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel. A beautiful building with a nice modern and extravagant interior. It was very clean and located in the center of Lille. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The corridors and the room were spotless.

One of the rooms we booked had no working ac - had to be moved 3x to find a room with working ac. Staff were accommodating though.

On our first night, neither room had air con; apparently it was broken but only in some rooms, and there were (completely ineffectual) fans in each room. As we were on the 4th floor right beneath the roof, we needed to have the windows open all night, which meant the rooms were too light and full of mosquitoes at 4am. But we asked for and were given better rooms the next day, so all well that ends well. Still, they should have let us know straight away as it was 37 degrees.

Good location, easy to park, good sized rooms, very clean and the staff were friendly.

Breakfast was poor due to running out of bacon with an hour still to go. I asked the lady that was working on cleaning and replenishing the breakfast area to be told there was no more. My breakfast considered of a bowl of cereal and a slice of toast.

I thought the bathroom was very dark so it was difficult e.g. when doing your make-up. Also the towels were changed after the first day even if I had hang them on the wall as I wanted to re-use them (then again, I thought the towel smelled a bit of cigarrettes)

the location is great and the breakfast was good (although the fruit salad was not very fresh at times). I liked the comfortable bed in the room and the showers were good. Nice decorations in the hotel. Very nice to be offered a welcome drink (although when we arrived, there was only beer available). Staff was very helpful.

The shower pressure was nonexistent, and I had to try and rinse hair under the sink tap.

The hotel was a great location, and the bar area and outside seating were clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and polite.
