Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The wifi only worked on the ground floor.
Loan was an exceptional host. We had trouble with the codes when we arrived, but nothing was too much trouble for him. The room was clean and very tastefully decorated, though the bathroom was still undergoing refurbishment. A very central location which suited us just fine. Despite that, it was very peaceful .

If Your traveling by bicycle they have safe storage in the courtyard only accessible through the house. Breakfast was good . The host was very friendly and welcoming.

Only issue would be no allocated car parking, can be a little difficult finding a parking place close to the hotel.
Loan the host was absolutely wonderful, he was so helpful and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Our room (1) was huge with extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was more than adequate. Also it was lovely that you had access to the breakfast room 24/7 to make tea/coffee.

Some noise from the street on first arrival but quiet by 9pm
Easy to find & to access. Perfect place to put bikes. Comfortable bedroom, with spacious ensuite. Welcoming host

I was aware if the bathroom across the hall, but it wasn't as convenient as an en-suite. A little too many air fresheners! Breakfast we ok but there was no cheese or ham.
There is no resident owner but the instructions to get access are very clear. Room was available early and there is easy, safe bike parking. 5 minutes from some very good restaurants

Check in was smooth, we were able to put bikes out the back under cover. Lovely comfortable room, external bathroom was fine for us, just across the hall. Breakfast was great. Loan apologised for his lack of English, we apologise for our lack of French!

Really good communication from the host, easy to find, perfect location and somewhere to store our bikes. Breakfast was lovely, room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. (Would have liked a kettle in the room though!).

Nothing. It was all perfect!
An absolutely gorgeous room in a delightful location. All the little touches and additions were clearly thought out and showed great care from the owners. Communication was excellent! A wonderful breakfast spread was included. It was possibly the most comfortable bed that I have stayed in this trip! Plenty of parking available directly in front of the building. The town is also simply adorable and easy to navigate.

Don't be put off by the outside appearance of the hotel, there is nothing not to like about this accommodation.
The owner was extremely obliging and did everything he could to make sure we had a great stay. He even arrived early to prepare our breakfast so we could start our day at a time that suited us.

The house is noisy. No real isolation between the rooms. We woke up at midnight because of a kid crying you can hear people move and talk. Smell of humidity in the bedroom.
The property is well situated in the city center of Chateaulin. Easy parking on the street during our stay. Owner responsive and good breakfast. System of code to enter and get the keys.

Renovation work going on in the building with materials in the corridor. One day the workmen had to access our room to do some work. This left mess in hall & stairs. Day we left breakfast items were not brought at the given time. We had to contact Loan to find out. He quickly organised delivery fom the nearby bakery, just in time before we needed to leave.
Welcome & friendliness of staff. Fact we could use the facilities in the breakfast room at other times. Needs catered for by Loan, nothing too much trouble Great central location near walks & eateries. Secure place for our bicycles. Very large room
