Everything was good.

Fabulous house in fabulous location. Extremely comfortable bed, wonderful décor and the breakfast was incredible, the best croissants ever. The owner, I didn't catch his name, was extremely accommodating. We had a very short stay but it was perfect. Thank you.

Not much, though parking is in public car parks. No problem with getting a space, but you may have a short walk.

The house is a unique experience....the decoration is sublime with knick knacks and amazing paintings,,the room super comfy , the bed one of the best we ve slept in and the breakfast was lovely in a beautiful setting.And they have a exquisite garden with the most beautiful roses..The hosts were super friendly and helpful.It was overall a magical experience.

We stayed for one night in this lovely house which is just a very short walk from the centre of town. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and communication was good regarding our travel arrangements. The room was stylish and the bed very comfortable. A wonderful grand 18th century private hotel with delightful interior and features and a sublime garden. A heavy of peace and tranquility. Very close to all amenities. Very welcoming and friendly hosts.

There was nothing we didn't like..

A fascinating old house decorated in traditional 'Parisian style. The best we're the the gardens, full of of flowers wonderfully shaded in the heat of the day and it was only a short walk into the centre of historic St. Jean. Lovely breakfasts served by the delightful host Mark who spoke perfect English..

We had a truly wonderful experience at the tranquil Orangerie du General. The host and hostess were so considerately yet discreetly attentive and we were extremely comfortable. The garden is a hidden oasis, beautifully maintained, where one can relax in the shade or sun. The property is within walking distance of a choice of restaurants and a quiet white stone town, steeped in history. Thankyou for a perfect stay.

Excellent location very welcoming hosts and a completely unique experience. The whole property is very eclectic and beautifully decorated keeping many of the traditional aspects. Lovely continental breakfast. The town is really special and interesting too! Go any stay there if you are in the area you won’t regret it!!

Veryyyy cozy and georgious rooms in a perfectelly maintained Villa with two beautiful gardens. Very kind and caring hosts with amazing taste. I felt very welcomed and at home with a great night sleep in the comfy bed. Also great breakfast in the garden:) Thank you!

Unfortunately the bed was very small and gave me a very bad backache. I’m sorry I cannot agree with most reviews -it wasn’t to my taste and I found it too cluttered and lacked authenticity in part.

Clean and spacious . Very nice hosts . They have worked hard to renovate their home. Well situated in a lovely old town.
