Shortage of power sockets in the room.

Original French atmosphere, great owners, very atmospheric, in the right place, good views, good value and very good breakfast, nice cats

Nothing really - it is what it is, a tired building, but very evocative, and better than staying in a “plastic” new hotel…. But I guess it wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

Parking is a nightmare: there are two small separate parking spaces reserved for the guests, both at the bottom of a very narrow and steep way. Important : go check on foot to make sure there is room for your car, otherwise it's very hard to get out. The upper parking is especially tiny. Unfortunately they are used by other people from nearby Air BnB, and it's not always possible for the hotel guests to leave their car. The hosts know but decided not to do anything about that, so be prepared

Very beautiful building & location, the owners were super-lovely and the breakfast was quite good, especially compared to other places I visited before. The garden and surroundings were beautiful, had a great view over the beautiful surroundings. You could spend a lovely breakfast or evenings on the terrace:)

Room was not super-clean, door could use new paint, it was quite okay, but especially as the bathroom was a bit on the older side, it felt not super-clean. Generally it was okay. What bothered me though is that the room smelled mouldy. At least for me that makes me not feel comfortable at all. I believe that the hotel has some very beautiful, renovated rooms and some older ones that need renovation. I sadly got one of the older ones and would not recommend that, the public space looks beautiful though, so I can imagine the more renovated ones are as well. So if you do come here, pick one of the renovated rooms (and hopefully be more lucky), I would not recommend my room. I was quite sad about that because the rest was just perfect - friendly owners, great location, good breakfast, lovely place...

Lovely old-fashioned hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff, surrounded in flowers.

Well the actual facilities - toilets etc - are relatively basic (2 star quality)

I loved my stay at this hotel so much that I came back for another night. The view is incredible, the property is very charming, old, has a ton of character. It's not a cookie cutter chain hotel, but a family run small property with a lot of heart. The amenities are basic, but the care and the charm are huge. It's very clean, the bedding is very good quality and comfortable. The parking is private and plentiful, the location is incredibly quiet and peaceful. It's a great value for money and a great experience as part of the French Riviera. The family who run the hotel are very kind, caring and attentive, lovely people. I would go back again!

Just note that check in closes at 8:30pm, so if you are traveling around, make sure to plan to get there on time.

the proprietors were lovely extremely helpful and friendly our room had amazing views out over and including the sea it was a nice room, but no tea or coffee making facilities or water. its a short drive away from beach, but no taxis to go in the evening when both of us wanted to drink.

the hotel is very dated. there is lots of areas with dead plants. its a shame because it could be beautiful. i think it does state you have to be physically fit, as our room was very high up so many stairs and steep driveway
