To us, it wasn't clear that you have to request breakfast in advance (given that it is called a bed & breakfast and the instructions just said that breakfast was served from 8 onwards). It would be good to include that in the description and ask guests if they want breakfast or not. It wasn't a big deal as you have access to a kitchen and there are several bakeries and supermarkets nearby, so we just prepared our own breakfast.

Very beautiful, spacious and comfortable room. Great shower with high water pressure. Nice shared terrace and living room/kitchen. Very conveniently located. Would definitely recommend (and return ourselves)

Excellent location in centre of Bordeaux above pedestrian busy street. Owner Pierre was exceptionally helpful and property was cleaned every day.. On tram route accessing every part of Bordeaux.

The location couldn't have been better, close to everything. Very walkable safe area. Did not have a street view but a wonderful patio, really enjoyed that and the privacy it provided.

The apartment was clean, spacious, and decorated beautifully. The bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent as it is in close proximity to local sights and shopping. There was scaffolding outside the premises, and workmen renovating the property next door. This did not affect our stay. Great communication from the proprietor. Unfortunately there were works in 2 different close places during our stay, and except for a very peaceful weekend, the noise started …. Rather early.

Access to the apartment was blocked by construction partitions. Lift did not work when we arrived. Other family we were sharing communal area with were not aware they were sharing. We arrived back after a night out to find door to our room blocked by an open suitcase and other gentleman walking around semi clothed. He was shocked when he saw us and realised they had to share. Also work men starting working in building at 7.30 on Friday morning. It was annoying to be told to expect this on the day of our arrival.

The property was in the perfect location. Tram B line was along the pedestrian mall and the Grand Théâtre stop less than 100 metres away. 3 minute walk to Place de la Comédie and 5 minute walk to the Tourist Information Centre. Pierre, the owner, was there at the beginning of our stay to answer any questions and give us recommendations for restaurants nearby, as well as sites to visit. He also came by at checkout and allowed us to leave our luggage in the vestibule for a few extra hours so that we could get in some last-minute sightseeing before departure. Large, beautiful room with a terrace outside the patio door. Very comfortable bed with luxurious linens. Kitchen with all the facilities at guests' disposal. Would definitely book again when we return to Bordeaux .

Another seat or two in the bedroom would have been welcomed although that might take up too much space. The shower was a little snug and a bit slow to drain but it was good to have a walk in shower as well as a bath.

The location of this apartment is brilliant, right in the shopping centre of Bordeaux and metres from a tram stop. Parking was no problem 3 minutes away and was less expensive than we feared (40 Euros for 40 hours or so). The twin room was snug but adequate for our needs. The sofa and TV in the main room was a bonus given that the kitchen and lounge are shared with another room. We love Bordeaux and certainly would come back here.

The room has a/c which is nice since many in France do not, but it didn’t cool well. The comforter is very heavy and no one uses a top sheet in France either - so it’s either no blanket or a heavy blanket and you’re hot.

The apartment was really nice. We loved the old Vs new combo of styles. The layout was great.
