How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It did get a little warm in the room ( it was pretty hot during our stay).
The mica was perfect for us. Right near the bus stop for airport and hiking as well as the gondola and just out of the center to make it feel less busy. We had a beautiful view of Mt. Blanc and the room was really large. The breakfast was plentiful and the common areas were excellent. Staff were so helpful and accommodating.

It was very warm while we were there and the only way to keep the room cool was to keep the door to the small patio open. Obviously lots of others did the same and it was quite loud at times with people talking and smoking outside. But for the 2 nights we were there, people eventually quieted down.
The property was located in a great location. Close to downtown Chamonix and right next to the main bus stop / public transportation. Yummy morning breakfast and a room that could accommodate all 3 of us.

It was comfortable and clean with a nice view of Mont Blanc. I liked the location, which was close to both the Aquille du Midi and the town of Chamonix.

Nothing! Wish we could have stayed for longer!
Everything!!! They have toys, mini cars, play rooms and colouring bits for kids of all ages! Swings in the lobby even! Staff are incredibly friendly, especially in the restaurant! What a wonderful hotel and we will defo be back! If you’re coming to Chamonix with kids, stay here!!!

Nothing to complain, really.
The hotel is located close to Auguille du Midi station (5 min walk). We appreciated the friendliness of staff, underground parking (paid though). The room was big and pleasant. We did not get breakfast, but the coffee was excellent.

We were upgraded to an apartment which was a great surprise to us. It’s clean and the bed is comfortable. The parking garage is big enough for cars to move in and out.

While breakfast is generally well-received, adding more variety or local specialties could enhance the morning experience, especially for guests staying multiple days.
Our stay at Plan B Hotel – Living Chamonix was fantastic! The hotel offers a stylish, modern vibe with thoughtful design and a welcoming atmosphere. The location is excellent – just a short walk from the Chamonix Sud bus stop and close to shops, restaurants, and cable cars, making it easy to explore the stunning Mont Blanc area. Our room was spacious, clean, and had incredible mountain views. The beds were super comfortable, and the amenities were well thought out. We loved the lively communal areas, including the bar and restaurant, which offered great food and a fun après-ski atmosphere. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Overall, Plan B strikes a perfect balance between comfort, style, and value – a great choice for anyone visiting Chamonix!

The location of Plan B Hotel is very strategic, close to everywhere, to the gondola in Midi, the main shopping area. This hotel provides covered parking although it is paid. Breakfast has many choices and the amount is large, definitely enough.
