United StatesThe central location is a bit of a mixed bag. The hotel like most in France has no air conditioning. Which required leaving the balcony door open in the summer. But there were throngs of loud crowds all day and up until 11pm or later. Like really loud. One drunk group of men woke us singing down the street at 2am. And then garbage and delivery trucks at 6am. This is not a quiet mountain town. So sleeping was not great here, not due to anything specific the hotel did wrong. With the balcony door closed the room was stagnant and hot.
This is a very centrally located hotel with comfortable rooms able to accommodate a family of 4. I really liked these rooms, bathroom, hotel's general vibe. Parking can be booked in advance but you have to inquire. It was nice having a breakfast option in the hotel.

The receptionist was a able to clear this. 2. After returning from a 2 day mountain hut trip I was collecting my luggage that I stored at the hotel and was allowed to use the shower at the gym before boarding my train.

United StatesThe breakfast was gross. Fruit was rotten, the only eggs were very cold hard boiled eggs (not fresh), and we did not find the breakfast worth the money. We are not a picky family, but none of us liked the food. We ate at nearby cafes with much better value for money.
We loved that we could walk to bars, restaurants, tourist shops, grocery stores, etc. Chamonix is a VERY fun place and this hotel is in the middle of it all. Our family room was comfortable and reasonably priced. The bar/restaurant downstairs was not too rowdy or loud. Be sure to book parking in advance, there are few spots, and they're small. We drove each day to the lifts rather than take the bus or walk, because they're pretty far and the bus does not drop off at an ideal location. A lot of people had to walk far up hill to get to the lift in the Brevant area.
