Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

FranceSome of the small kitchen appliances and other equipment have seen a lot of use and could use replacing. Also, while the apartment was clean, some of the finer points of cleaning needed additional attention (dirt in the floor track of the sliding glass door, cobwebs on the ceiling, especially on the terrace, etc.).
The location (right above the waterfront and 1 minute walk from the old port pedestrian area) was outstanding. Beds were comfortable, linens were clean, bathtub was great as was having a dedicated parking place inside a secure garage. We liked having the apartment keys available in a lock box as we were not sure of our exact arrival time.

The view and location is exceptional. The assigned parking was in the same building. The outside terrace/balcony was incredible.

United KingdomThe whole apartment was grubby, everything needed a deep clean, a coat of paint, and some TLC. While towels were provided there was no hand soap or shower gel. While a dishwasher was provided there was no dishwasher tablets. While a coffee machine was provided there were no coffee capsules provided. So having driven for for over five hours to get there we then we had to go back out and drive to a shop to purchase all these items. With a little consideration this could be a great place (in addition to some cleaning) but unfortunately for us, it fell far short of our expectations.
The setting and location, right on the waterfront, are stunning. The apartment decor and setting make for a peaceful, tranquil break. The secure parking, although a tight space, is good. The apartment is within very easy walking distance of a good selection of restaurants, shops and bakeries etc.

United KingdomCleanliness and general maintenance of the apt and building left a lot to be desired. Lots of cobwebs and spiders nests at high level in the apt, together with accumulations of dust in every corner. Low quality bedding/pillows on the twin beds - 2 glaringly mismatched duvet covers which really grated on me (one a dark green/brown tartan and the other white with grey pattern) - this is not what you expect when you're paying a premium price. We had hoped to use this room for our overnight visitors but I was too embarrassed by the jumble sale appearance and quality of the bed linen. Too few towels for our 12 night stay and no offer to replenish or change bed linen during our visit. Extractor fans in toilet and bathroom not working. Faulty aircon with condensation gathering on the grilles and dripping on floor. This apt hasn't had anyone pay much attention to maintenance for a very long time.The living room furniture (sofa and dining chairs) are well beyond their best - the sofa cover has shrunk, leaving a big exposed ugly gap of foam at the back, and the fabric is very frayed and worn, with several holes in places (they try to hide this with a throw). The fabric dining chairs are very grubby, with a couple having collapsed seats. The building in general is showing serious signs of neglect and deterioration with the main window at the entrance badly rusted, cracked and glass panes that haven't seen a cleaning cloth in years. The communal laundry on the ground floor was a joke - the room is a boiler room, with an absolutely filthy ceramic sink greeting you on entry, the washing machine soap drawer has never been cleaned and it's all very grimy - a most unpleasant place.
Location is unparalleled with incredible views over the Etang de Thau. The apartment has a beautiful wraparound balcony which ensured all day sunshine and a great opportunity to watch all the comings and goings on the water - a really lovely relaxing space. Very close to the port with its many bars and restaurants and only a short walk into the town. Marseillan is a little piece of heaven.
