A garden would have been helpful for the dog but it wasn’t a big deal.

The host of this property was really communicative and helpful. We had an issue with our ferry and they went out of their way to help us. The property was perfect. Clean, bright and had everything we needed. We were super close to the beach and a lovely patisserie directly opposite. I would certainly recommend this place to all families

The location of La Baraque Apartement was great - right opposite a fabulous bakery for huge croissants the next morning for breakfast. Great communication with the host (despite some issues with the Booking.com messages removing the numbers from my reply as to what time we'd be arriving) and a very comfy double bed.

Nothing - although the boys said the WiFi worked best in our bedroom 😄.

Little touches that make a difference like a bottle of local cider and some soft drinks in the fridge on arrival. The rustic doors suited our taste perfectly. The shower was modern and efficient with plentiful hot water. Our Grandchildren loved the mezzanine bedroom and chill out zone. Caution - some people would worry about the open stairs. Our 13 and 8 year olds loved it. Close to the beach and Calais centre.

Great location in a nice area of Calais. The apartment is great with a really nice touch. It’s a close walk to the Sangatte beach and a lot of services in the area. There is also parking available right on the property.

Few minutes walk from the beach. Easy access by bike. We stopped here for a night during our family bike trip from Oostende to Boulogne. This place is very close to the Eurovelo 4 (sometimes difficult to follow) cycle path along the coastline. The apartment is comfortable and decorated with taste. Communication with the owner was seamless. Many thanks!

Excellent, but short stay, in this very comfortable house. Convenient for one night stop over after arriving on a late ferry. Very nicely decorated and comfortable apartment with good off street parking and an excellent bakery across the road for breakfast.

The adult sleeping on the little bed in the 'loft' found the bed quite unforgiving and didn't like the stairs with no banister.

Directions to the house and how to get in were good. Off road parking round the back of the property. A little supermarket was just down the road and a bakery opposite, so convenience rating is high. House was clean and warm. Despite being on a well used road, the house didn't suffer from any traffic noise. We would happily have stayed there again on the return journey but it was already booked out 😢

The interior was a great surprise: very well designed space, surprisingly peaceful, comfy, private parking, very close to eurotunnel. Loved the bathroom !
