How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I Could not get the window open. Room too hot and air conditioning was not working as expected. Some noise from other guests during the night and early in the morning.
Breakfast was okay. Location was ideal. Plenty of space to park. Great to have access to both a fridge and microwave.

Very friendly staff and big shout out to Didier who was very helpful and super friendly. Great customer service.
We just required a stay overnight before heading to Calais. Basic but perfect for a cheap overnight stay.

Globally nothing really bad to say. The parking gate was not closed during the night. It's usually locked with a code, here it was just open all night. We didn't really care but for some people it might be important. We didn't check the breakfast, it's usually not worth it in cheap hotels in France (here I didn't try, so I don't know). In many "highway stop campuses" like this in France you might find chain restaurants and a large bakery to have stuff for breakfast. Here isn't not the case so you'd better drive to the nearby villages to grab some croissants.
Cheap drive in hotel for an overnight stay in the suburbs. It's a typical "campus" of cheap hotels not far from the highway. Nothing bad to say, not much to expect. Quiet, no noise from the roads or industrial plans like it happens in such places. Each room has an individual entrance from outside. Free parking. Automatic check-in machine for around the clock check-in (it worked). Room furniture is not extremely new but decent and clean. I would sleep there again.

In need of refurbishment, bathroom sink was clean but where tap had dripped it was green, no curtain to the window, our room was the only one that we could see which had no curtain was missing

The room was in need of upgrading. It was extremely cold - the rusty heater was barely warm and turned itself off during the evening. The door had a gap where it closed, letting in a draught. I put the spare duvet on top of the very thin one on the bed and, thankfully, I had packed a hot water bottle. If the weather had been warm, there wouldn't have been a problem. It is a budget hotel, so I was expecting it to be fairly basic.
The receptionist was very pleasant and friendly. The hotel was conveniently situated.

The room was in urgent need of a refurbishment. There was a lot of damp mold all around the door, there was a bad damp smell, the walls were tired and stained and the silicone in the bathroom was black with mold. We have stayed in lots of Premiere Classe so we are realistic, but that room was rough. A male member of cleaning staff opened our door at 7.45am. He apologised but it woke us up and gave us a fright. They should know whether or not a room is occupied. We've never had that happen before.
Convenient location, large car park, friendly staff, comfy beds - we slept really well, great breakfast. We would stay again but there are some improvements to be made.
