Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceThe walk to downtown is long, about 30-40 mn, so you would have to take taxis or the tramway. We didn't mind as we like to walk. There are not many restaurants nearby and, as is often the case with train stations, there are some stragglers hanging about. Still, it was safe when we arrived around midnight and the area immediately surrounding the hotel is new and very clean.
A lovely modern hotel not far from the train station. Very new and therefore all "shiny", it is a perfect place if you are travelling through for one reason or another. You can fill up your water bottles at the Culligan fountains on each floor and the bathrooms are nicely different from the usual layout. USB and regular plugs on each night stand and a small desk and room for suitcases. We rented a car from Budget which is a 5 mn walk away.

IrelandThe location is perfect, 5 mins walk from the train station. Bus stop directly across the road goes into Bordeaux Centre. Rooms are spacious and spotless. We travelled as a family of 4. Interconnecting rooms were fabulous. A really lovely experience.

New ZealandHôtel was really well appointed and had lovely staff. Hôtel is a short walk from the train station but we didn't hear a thing. We enjoyed the walk into Bordeaux most days but the trams/tram replacements leave from right outside the hotel.

RomaniaWe could hear a bit some of the traffic noise this time (room 2nd floor, facing the bridge) probably also do to the traffic deviation as some of the main tram lines were under maintenance. Overall it is clearly better VS. staying in the old town in terms of quietness at all times.
We stayed at the hotel a few years back too, before it was bought by the Radisson Group. Generally would say that it had more personality before and it felt more cosy and boutique style even if the capacity is quite big. The staff is just as kind and helpful, was glad to recognize some faces at the reception. They were very helpful with the bike we had to store and addressed fully all our questions.

United Kingdom40 min walk to the old town, but we chose it because of proximity to railway station so that was fine for us ! We were only there one night and left early so can't comment on breakfast.
Near to station , we arrived by train. Our top tip - if using the station would be to find Halles 3 ( there's a tunnel that goes under the platforms to the 'back' of the station ) and the Radisson is only 5 mins walk from there. Google maps took us a long way round. Warm welcome from reception staff. Comfortable room. Good value.

United KingdomFor me the only thing was the air con! It was very hot when I visited, it didn't ruin the stay, but could be a little better efficient! I suppose the are is a bit under construction, so a bit out on a limb.
Really nice, modern and comfortable environment Spacious room, great bathroom and lovey restaurant- great breakfast!!

United KingdomLess convenient a place to stay when visiting the city while the nearby tram route is closed for upgrading of the network. The hotel is not very well marked - we could not see any sign giving its name or saying it was a Radisson.
Large modern hotel conveniently located near Bordeaux's St Jean railway station (especially when we found the Hall 3 exit from the station nearest the hotel). Good size room with very comfortable beds. Good breakfast, and nice bar.

IrelandBreakfast, the Manager who do doubt is a nice guy was too overbearing ...far to busy and frantic, rather than relaxed and in control. I don't like to criticize the guy because he was doing his best, but probably not suited to the role

FranceThe bed was great, the room very cosy, all nice! Just difficult to find it because there is no sign of the hotel, it is behind the station and not of easy access without a car or if you are not at the station, since it is a small walk behind the station.
