United StatesRoom overall was great, but windows that were up high didn;t have curtains so if you need a very dark room to sleep the room we had wouldn't work. Parking was a bit of an adventure, but we lucked out and got some street parking.
Large Room was excellent, had air conditioning, and a small kitchen area with frig, stove, dishes etc...which worked good for keeping some snacks and food.

We were in Bayeux for a quick visit. Hotel Mathilde is a sweet property - no elevator and we were last room at top of stairs - it was fine - but be prepared. Comfortable beds, small rooms, but adequate enough for our visit. Best was the nice restaurant attached and their staff. And the proximity to all activity in town and main street - the hotel is situated right in the center of activity which was real plus!
