I thought the housekeeper would clean from time to time. It was very clean when we entered then we had to keep it ourselves.

We are required to do the cleaning ourselves. No housekeeping provided unless you are staying more than 7 nights. We also need to empty rubbish bins before leaving. There is a not so nice smell in the bathroom due to the shower screen.

There was not an abundance of hot water and ran out after two quick showers and there was no hot water in the evening. The lobby and hallways and room are plain and sterile looking which was not a problem but wanted to mention it if someone was looking for a fancy place. The property is utilitarian and fits the bill for a great location and wonderful staff.

The location is fantastic in the middle of the old town next to Place Kleber and a few blocks from Petite France and under a 10 minute walk to the train station. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to get our questions answered. Our water tank broke down and they handled the situation quickly and with a smile and moved us to a new room immediately. The room is spacious and the kitchenette with a microwave and fridge came in handy. The beds were firm and comfy and the comforter soft and warm. The bathroom was big enough and the tub was a good size.

Location was very central - we were there for xmas markets and they were all within walking distance - some of them further than others obviously but weather was nice so we didint mind the walk. The room was clean and lovely and warm. It was very quiet as in no noise from street etc so that was good.

Finding the place with a car navigation was very tricky, it took us a quite a long time to find the right one way street to get to the parking. I would appreciate if there were more accurate details about getting there by car.

Great location and staff, everything absolutely sufficient for our stay, local shops and supermarkets nearby. Even if in the center the street was very quiet at night.

The room we were first given was a bit small, and smelt a bit like cleaning supplies. There was a water leak from the refrigerator so we got upgraded to a bigger and perfectly non-smelly room, so in the end we were very happy. The hotel in general is in an old building which is why it has a slight hostel/ hospital vibe in the corridors. A suggestion I would give to them as an architect is to paint the interiors in a brighter coluour or just plain polar white. The grey gives a very dull feeling in the corridors as well as the rooms.

The staff upgraded our room to a bigger, cleaner room! location of the hotel is really perfect, very close to the main train station as well as to almost everything worth seeing in Strasbourg!

Everything was very well except the parking issue. Despite the fact that it as written about the possibility to park the car, after I booked the room which was non-refundable, they wrote me that all the parking paces were occupied. Also they did not give me the code from bollard of the street so there was impossible to access the street where hotel is situated. I caused some troubles because there were no place to leave the car in the street close to the hotel's street and to transfer our suitcases to the hotel.

Mattress slipping on the bed. You fall down between the mattresses. The corridors were a bit dirty. The elevator is incredibly slow. I missed the reception. If present they spoke excellent English. And they were very helpful and polite.

The location is in the centre but not busy, nights are also quiet. A room is middle size, there was a tube in the bathroom, the water boiler right above the toilet, so not good for oversized people like me.

Amazing value for money! We were more than happy in this incredible spacious and clean apartment. We were 3 friends sharing this room and it never felt crowded, and even though our room was located on the street side ,where bars and restaurants are, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. We always felt secure and everything was walking distance including many touristic sites, stores, supermarkets and cinemas all around the place. We absolutely loved it and recommend it 100%!

The 2 separate beds in the room I ordered, which request was confirmed by the hotel by email, was not honored. The receptionist blamed me for calling "another" phone number at 8:30 PM and not the one in the email that was sent to me for asking for a room change. On the second night we were again given a room with 1 bed and one shared duvet! On the third night the key card didn't work! Extreme lack of professionalism, and hassles throughout the stay! On the last night, the employee herself offered to reimburse me for the value of one night as compensation, but nothing like that happened!

It was not hygienic. Spiderwebs, even spider nests!! & dirty shower and not vacuuumd under the bed. Sheets seemed OK but its hard to trust it if you see that all the rest is nasty

I had received emails about my pre authorisation payment not going through. Therefore I called the hotel as my details were correct, they informed they would keep the room as I was definitely coming which was fine. I spoke to somebody twice just to be sure as it’s a long way from Scotland to get turned away. However, on arrival we were told our booking had been delayed due to a mix up with the payment. They put us up in another close by hotel, the Citadines. This was not an issue and they helped us get there, we were a bit disappointed not to stay were we had booked tho but the new hotel was near by. When we got to the new hotel our bed was 2 singles pushed together on wheels on a wooden floor which I fell through twice. The room was clean and tidy and no issues otherwise but it was disappointing to have booked a double room to then have a very uncomfortable 3 night sleeps. The staff who helped us can’t be faulted though as she was so lovely and gave us advice on were we should visit and walked us to the other hotel.
