How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great place , lovely swimming pool all the facilities you need ,fantastic owners who couldn’t do enough for us , without them our holiday would have been ruined as we had a pre booked a large taxi to collect us from the airport with our case and 2 extremely large bags which contained our bikes ,the taxi never arrived even after phoning several times . A quick call to Khelifa the owner of the property who we had already arranged to leave our empty cases with until our stay with him at the end of our holiday and he came straight out to collect us having to do 2 trips because of our bikes in cases ,he lent me tools and the use of his garage so that I could assemble the bikes in time for us to ride to the train station in time for our train to Bordeaux , on our return he was an excellent host who treated us as old friends, he again ferried us with 2 trips to the airport for our return flights 5 star service we will definitely stay here next time we return to Carcassonne.

Very clean room and toilet, smells fresh and well-maintained. Kitchen available (no cooking). Modern TV. No footwear allowed in the room, which says a lot that hygiene is important in the house. The host is fantastic, informative and very responsive. If you love walking everywhere like me, the house is strategically located. About 30 mins from the airport by foot (lack pedestrians though) or use the shuttle. Not much to see around the property but the best part is you can walk easily (mostly flat) by the river to the castle for 45 mins, like a local.

Amazing host’s Gladys and Jean Paul, couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast amazing with home cooked croissants and jam plus local jams and cheese. Jean Paul also gave us a lift to the airport which we weren’t expecting. Best Airbnb I’ve EVER stayed in Merci Beaucoup xx

Practically nothing. There is some traffic noise ,( mainly at peak times) but given the city's proximity it is to be expected.
The hosts of this property are really exceptional. What lovely people! The breakfast is good and the room is very comfortable. The pool and terrace are perfect to relax in after a day out exploring. It's a fair walk of around 40 mins to the medieval part of the city but along the river bank, so flat and scenic

A little farther from where we wanted to be. But only a 5 min. Drive. A little bit hard to find.
The room was big, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and there was a lovely pool.

The hosts were very open. After a little tour of the Property and room, we also received Some Information about the village, where to go, which restaurants to go to and more important where to stay away. The beds are very comfortable and the swimmingpool is a plus! The breakfast is a suprise. It is homemade.

continental breakfast ... was lovely and fresh. Fresh yogurts and juices...but being british craved hot food or something different after a few days. Centre of town is about 20/25 minute walk.
Amazing, experienced and kind hosts....went above and beyond for us. Jean Claude helped take us around and picked us up from/dropped us off to airport. (Being 2 ladies on holiday we were so grateful) Gladys helped me when I hurt myself too and got me what I needed out of the kindness of her heart. Amazing swimming pool area....very relaxing and clean. Only two rooms so is very private. Hosts live above so always there if you need something or have a question.
