Slightly tired in places. For example the tennis courts were not in particularly good condition. The bathrooms could do with updating.

Great location close to motorway for a stop over. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice facilities with small swimming pool and outdoor area. Lots of free parking available.

It could benefit from having some bar snacks and a pizza oven. I was told we don’t serve pizza as it’s a restaurant. It serves the usual nuggets & chips for kids so was a little confused by the comment . Breakfast was fantastic with a very good selection.

Breakfast was chaotic, tables not cleared, no cutlery, breakfast items not replenished when empty, long queue for coffee machine (one machine was broken). Dinner menu was a bit sparse and one dish was served on a wooden platter with deep cut marks which caused us to question hygiene.

Drinks and food were very expensive 4 soft drinks over 20 euros we didn't eat on the evening as too expensive tho looks nice

Breakfast was good we had it two mornings second first we came at peak time was crazy busy no plates lots of items ran out the second day we came down earlier was a much better experience

When we had a drink from te poolbar we couldn't talk to eachother because of the loud and screamy music. The breakfast isn't worth paying for. Lack of choices and basic isn't even the word for it. Save some money and go to a local store.

The rooms where good, tidy and cool. The Pool was clean and the bar served cool drinks.

My steak was overdone, but my husband enjoyed his meal. The breakfast area was not adequate for the number of guests staying. Only one coffee machine, making for long queues, taking up to 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee! The food area was very narrow and small in size, making it very difficult for everyone to serve themselves. Despite the efforts of the staff, food often ran out and when it was replenished, it was very difficult to get to. I also found the attitude of the receptionist unwelcoming and offhand.

The room was good and the bed comfortable. Staff in the bar and restaurant were polite and helpful. I liked the areas you could sit and relax in and if we had wanted, there was a pool. The hotel and grounds are attractive. The hotel was not far from the motorway, making it easier to be on our way the next morning.

This was the second time we booked this hotel on our way to France. The location is very handy for a stop over and quiet to get a good night sleep before taking the road. The family room is comfortable and the hotel has great services. The kids played in the kids room and we enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant. We had no time to test the swimming pool unfortunately...

The gym was incredibly dusty and dirty, with dozens of dead bugs lying around. It definitely looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for a few months now. We still worked out in the gym because that was also one of the reasons why we booked this hotel. But it was not pleasant. We were also unlucky with the service at the restaurant during dinner time where the employees were often rude.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was sufficient too and there was a good-size closet to store our things. Plenty of choices for breakfast and the outdoor area was lovely.

Tried several times via email to add an additional 12 year old child to our booking, but unfortunately the message never got to Novotel. Hotel staff were eventually able to set up the sofabed in one of 3 family rooms we had booked.

Fantastic staff, Jose the manager was relaxed and nothing was too much trouble, making our stay memorable. Lovely location next to the forest, very relaxing and quiet. Easy drive into Rouen 15-20mins by car. 90 mins train ride to Paris for a datetrip. Recently renovated.

We have used this hotel en route from U.K. to Charente or the Dordogne several times over the years, and it never disappoints. Easy to find and plenty of parking, it is perfectly placed for a quick return to the motorway afterwards. We ate at the hotel, and this was extremely good for both an evening alfresco dinner, and a good breakfast in the morning. We will be back in future years.

Restaurant fully booked by a party not ideal for a hotel used for overnight stops when all you need is food and bed for the night . Hotel could have emailed ahead of time informing us of that fact
