Large suite area with two separate rooms. Large bathroom. Access to shared kitchenette where tea and coffee was available. Very friendly lady running the place. In a quiet neighborhood.

Beds and pillows were not comfortable at all. The property is up the hill with narrow winding road access. Old property, so the walls are rather thin (not sound proof)

The property is located about 3 km from the city center and old town of Menton, located up hill through a twisty road. The road is beautiful and allows beautiful view to the city and the sea but it is not practical to live there if the main objective is to visit the city center. Summer time and heat prevents one to do multiple trips up and down to visit, get rest, and re visit. While I am quite sportive, walking up under heat is not easy. The suit is good, the kitchen is shared with other hosts and in the garden. Lucie, the host and other companies are polite and kind.

Excellent set from the just Lucie and other staff. Best ever breakfast.

Location a slight negative. Very peaceful and great views but a winding drive down to the town. However, this is a reflection of the geography of the area unless you want to stay in the expensive beachfront hotels m.

The location it’s in a breath taking view, with a lot of nature diversity and the garden is simply splendid. The host is the best one I ever met so far. Very attentive to everyone’s needs and made the effort to wait for us even if we were late. She is also a great cook and the breakfast was amazing!

At home. The owner is super friendly. The breakfast in the yard is very private and refreshing.

The hotel was on top of a hill. After we enjoyed the night opera in the center of the city , we couldn't find a taxi nor Uber and had to walk up the hill for 30 minutes to get back to the hotel. The location has pros and cons.

It was beautiful and spacious rooms- wonderful breakfast and yard.

It was way too far away from the town center. Normally we don’t mind making the long walk but because it was extremely hot it was impossible to travel and finding taxis or Ubers was a bit of a nightmare.

    Property response:

hello, i am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay, we never had trouble finding taxis and uber thought, a simple phone call or with the app usually does the trick. you've actually stayed only one night instead of two because you were not in the city centre, as stated in the ad. We did wave the fees for you as a gesture. I hope you fund something more to your taste

The team is just exceptional, by their kindness and attentions. They prepared in secret (and offered) a birthday celebration for my girlfriend, with Champagne and apéritifs We regret to not stay longer, specially to test the family cuisine.

The drive upto the property was scary a single track road that was very steep with cars parked on side of road, when car coming in opposite direction you must pull in while you pass very dangerous. Evening meal all vegetables with strange taste with very small piece of fish we were very disappointed second night no food available had to go into town. We will not return.
