Some Basilica rooms feature bathtubs, others balconies, but neither is guaranteed unless requested in advance through the comment section at the time of booking, by email, or by phone. If this was not clearly indicated, there is unfortunately no way for us to guess these preferences. You are welcome to check with Booking.com to confirm the details mentioned at the time of your reservation. The open-space bathtub design is clearly shown in the room photos online, and while it may not suit all guests, many appreciate the style and openness. It is also worth noting that the elevator begins on the first floor, as stated in the hotel description. There is one flight of stairs before reaching it, and our staff is always available to help with luggage if needed. As for the breakfast, we strive to maintain a high-quality French-style selection and continue to improve it based on direct client feedback. Describing it as poorly reviewed does not reflect the experience of the majority of our guests. While the reception may be momentarily unattended, this is only because the staff might be assisting other guests on the floors. As mentioned at check-in, there is a phone line available at all times to reach us if needed. We are always looking for ways to improve, and constructive feedback is appreciated.
